Scouting for light helicopters and add STOL aircraft that have limited strike abilities like o2 skymaster or ov10 bronco etc and add maritime patrol aircraft with similar mechanics in naval I think it would be a good update

Broncos and similar would get absolutely destroyed before they could do anything. They’d only be practical to play at WW2 and very early Cold War BRs. Which would then make them stupidly OP.

Nah they would actually be less vulnerable than early helicopters that are already in game you just have to play defensively
Hmmm, not necessarily. Look where for example Strikemaster and Albatros are… Placing a Bronco or a Skymaster where e.g. the Skyraiders are would not seem too unreasonable…

So anyway… Barak… I was here when M22s had scouting. You were not. There’s no way to “prove” it to you unless for some inexplicable reason someone has a screenshot from back then just lying around. Which I doubt anyone does.
Also we already have f-117 bronco would be arguably more useful

That’s where they’d HAVE to be and no higher. They can’t go anywhere near missile spaa. Despite what Columbia thinks, they’d stand no chance and much much much less so than a helo. They can’t hover behind solid cover and trees like helos can.
Add a version that would be fighting gepard 1a2 and such not irist-sl lol.
They’re too slow for any radar assisted spaa.
It has a camera it can spot outside of the gun range it also has 30 counter measures for the stingers it wouldn’t be too crazyit would be slow but distance would be it’s friend

The way I’m intending it in my head is for spotting not really to spot and be able to mop up ofc it has limited bombs and ffar pods but it’s main purpose would be to spot it would encourage a support play style similar to light tanks ofc an xm800 isn’t really gonna be able to stand up to (most) MBTs but it has its role
The MH6 would be almost just as vulnerable
While not the M-, the AH-6 is already ingame and does just fine.
m113 in israeli tree does not have scouting while being 1 AND ONLY tank destroyer/light tank from 6.7 to 11.3 which GREATLY affects CAS
I think we have to agree to disagree on the bronco but I think aircraft that can spot would be a great addition including but not limited to small helicopters like the scout ah.mk1 or the alouette but also liaison aircraft like the storch, Lysander, and grasshopper. It would just add a different support based Play style to the game
