In this bug report we can see that the Type 69IIa used the Type 1959 APFSDS. This bug report was acknowledged a year ago and I’m waiting for it to be implemented.
I also want to ask who to ping here in the forum a if someone else knows stuff about this.

I’ve been waiting for an APDS-FS for the Type 69-IIa for quite some time. I bought it when it was bundled with the T-62 hoping they’d give it an APDS-FS, knowing that on the Chinese server this tank used the Soviet 3BM-25 I imagined they’d remove that round and give it Chinese ammunition, but I was surprised that they just removed that APDS-FS but didn’t add a native APDS-FS, when most likely it had an APDS-FS for the simple fact that that tank is from 1982.
On the other hand, another mistake gaijin made with the Type 69-IIa is that they made it Chinese, since that tank model was an export-only version, and its main user was Iraq, so it’s reasonable that it would be in the Chinese tree but from the nation of Iraq.

To be honest, I don’t know. As you have stated, this issue has been reported several times and the report has even been accepted, so it is an issue that will be resolved. The problem is when it will be resolved. Just because reports are accepted doesn’t mean they will be resolved soon. It can take years to resolve an accepted report.

I mean I do understand why it takes so long and that is because they don’t want to buff premium vehicels because that means you get more for what you paid which is understandable but not okay
I see it the other way around, since you have paid, especially knowing that practically all premiums over Br 7.0 tend to cost almost the same, at least they should have the features most similar to what they were in reality. One thing is that because it is premium you ask for this OP, and another is that it has the features that it had in reality, and that it fires the ammunition that it used in reality.

Bro the number of Chinese issues, I have seen like 100 of them at least, primarily focused on ZTZ99A VT4, J10A, and JF17, like there must have been so many rejected from every nation.

The thing with the Type 69IIa is when they give it the APFSDS it needs to go 8.7 so it also needs to go to rank 6 because there is not even a single tank that is rank 5 and 8.7. That means you can research up to rank 7 that means it need to be more expensive like 8500-9000 GE eventho some ppl bought it for only 5800 GE (with the 30% sale) which is basically 8400 GE (not corrcet but pretty close) That means a lose for them. I do agree with what you said but I was telling from gajins view
Well, let them lose it, it can’t be that the players pay for the devs’ mistake.
This is the big difference between game companies, for example in the WOT, as far as I remember, the devs had much more affection for the players. For example in the American tech tree there was the T34, and as they were going to change it for another vehicle because it didn’t work in their Br, well they made it premium and gave it to those who already had the tank, they literally gave away a 40€ tank to many players. On the other hand, in War Thunder they put the Italian M60A1 with a stabilizer, after a while they took it away (which seems correct to me because historically it didn’t have one), but they practically didn’t give anything to the affected players, and then there are premium tanks that don’t improve by making them realistic because otherwise the devs lose a few €.
If you look at it seriously, you can’t have much hope for this game, unless the devs suddenly radically change their way of working, start doing things right, and start caring about the players and make them pay for their mistakes, not the players.
I mean gajin changed over time. Same as every company that started small and became big…
