Give the HEVT round back to Veak40 and move it up

In this specific case they are correct though, i have done extensive research on this specific thing and have found no information at all even hinting at the VEAK having used proximity rounds.

Or we can have these:

BAE TRIDON Mk2

MOWAG-Bofors

Both aren’t 100% Swedish but the turrets and guns are, and they are modern enough to use HE-VT

Tridon MK.1 has He VT and is old, so idk why that wasn’t included here

No idea what you said but if you come off in a hostile tone of course It’ll be removed. Now what you’ve just said could get you in even nore trouble, it would be better to delete or change what you said.

I wont. Gaijin and its devs are horribly hypocritic. Especially when making changes to nations other than russia but ignoring that the russia tech tree is built upon propaganda and not what the vehicles can actually do.

If this is in response to the Veak 40 losing its HE-VT its accurate get over it. The only thing to hope they’ll do is add the high velocity shells. Rn the thing holding the veak back is the fact that its gun is the worst at its br and is restricted to AT functions only. Imo the veak should either be removed or given its proper shells. The veak is more 7.3 worthy than 7.7 in its current state. Id rather have the tridon or the ZSU-57M at 8.0 with HEVT since the Veak cant do its job there nearly as well as most 7.3 can. Again imo id rather the m163 or the ZSU-37-2 over the veak because i prefer their guns.

Please try to keep it on topic. and be civil.
This thread is going off-topic.

It is on topic. If you are making “historical” changes to one thing why not to all? And i was completely civil my original post wasnt negative or derogatory in any way, I only got irritated when you removed my original post saying it was offensive when it wasnt, you only removed it cause you didnt like it.

What i havent seen in this thread so far is anyone questioning why the veak got the vt shells in the first place if it never had them historically. Hint, they were added as the veak was useless in its roll as an AA with out them.
But you are right, without the vt shells it definitely needs to drop in BR.

Hey any chance you have any idea if the devs are looking at the Veak 40 ammo changes? It could really do with its historical ammo rather than the stuff it currently has.

High velocity ammo would be amazing and maybe warrant actually grinding the vehicle.

Many vehicles are added with strange additions. Errors fall on gaijin a lot of the time. Look at the gripens, all of them are made up and entirely fictional. They are a mess, why can the MS19 gripen on Britain have access to GBU-39 when they never bought the MS20 upgrade. Its nore likely gaijin confused newer ammo with the veak being able to use it and then added it. I dont agree with gijins placement of the veak nor do i agree with their idea that is is a suitable vehicle for spaa when it fails to do any basic principle aside from letting enemy air know exactly where you are. It would be better if gaijin focused on adding spaa instead of TD’s to sweden. Of Swedens spaa, the Ito LVRBVR, ASRAD, and ITO are the only spaa, all other SPAA fail to be effectuve at their intended roll and are better suited for anti ground. Gaijin shoukd add about 3-4 actual good spaa to make up for the fact the sweden lacks spaa in most BR’s and also lacks aircraft capable of performing decent CAP at most BR’s unfortunately 10.0+ is their main focus.

I am not able to answer you question…
If a report was made it will surely be checked.

The Lvkv 42 & VEAK 40 has the completely wrong ammunition! // Gaijin.net // Issues https://search.app/cnoQdXqeUFRT7RKG8

I only asked since its been over a year since it was accepted and nothing was changed. Was hoping to see if you knew if it was actually in the works but guess not. Thanks anyways

Does Gaijin not do any of their own research into vehicles they add, or do they just slap whatever together and rely on players to complain enough before they “fix” it?
The Veak is from the 1960’s, so I highly doubt the ammo information had changed since 2020 when the Veak was first added. Its been allowed to play for close to 5 years with the wrong ammo.
The answer to this is probably as simple as Gaijin knew exactly what the correct ammo was, but in an attempt to prevent players from using the AA in an AT role they didnt give it the high velocity shells. But upon play testing they discovered that the Veak was useless and added the HE-VT shells as away to make the vehicle useful in its role without making it better in an AT role.
Now that there are more aircraft in the game from a certain nation that Gaijin wants to do better, they decide to “fix” the Veak.
And lets not forget that on the same document that had the information telling them it never used the VT shell, was all the info on the correct ammo the Veak did use. But if you noticed they didnt add the correct ammo to the Veak.

Because it was easier for gaijin to just copy paste rather than make 2 separate vehicles.
Same reason why the CV90IV has spikes.

And this right here is just proof that they didnt “fix” things because of an error. They knew it wasnt historically accurate the whole time, and it only had the VT shells to make it playable in its AA role.
