The best buff for this plane would be a battlerating decompression, or individual matchmaking – instead of +/- 1.0 BR draws, a +/- 0.7 BR draw, but it’s a snail’s snail, I doubt they’ll implement something like that.
In summary, I prefer the premium Hornet in its current state with a BR of 12.7 to the Fox 3 with a BR of 13.7 or even 14.0. Eventually, they’ll fix this da.mn decompression, and all planes below the top will have fairer draws.
Even if mm locked to 13.0-13-3 you will still see Fox-3 carriers that also has irccm missiles.
Since Gaijin cannot reduce premium hornets br due to their flight performance and Aim-7P best thing they can do is give Aim-9M in this case.
If you give it fox 3 it would go to 14.0. 14.0 without HMD would not be good. Instead let it be (or move it to 13.0) where it is with it’s current loadout

Wow, there are a lot threads asking for the premium C Hornets to get AIM-120.
Can’t wait for the CF-188A to be the best premium Hornet as it’s the only one that can’t get them and the BR change do to them.

All fox 3 hornets get the dual racks for aim 120s, I don’t see how a non dual rack hornet will be same br as dual rack hornets

the CF-18A+ is able to use amraams iirc
you do not need HMS to do well at 13.7.
F-2 is also a mid plane at 13.7, it’s not that good.
Definitely think hms is almost a prerequisite for being a good plane

HMS for a bad radar sure but F-2 has superior flight performance and missiles to your average F16 and has a better radar
