what I am saying is add Aim-120βs and put it up at 13.3, where it would be able to actually stand a chance against the Venezuelan Su30
I mean is he wrong lol
not american, its in export variant
why 14.0? why not 13.3 so it could face the premium Su-30βs
Because f-18cs that get AMRAAMs are all 14.0. Why would it be at any other br
you know why? because in real life the Aim-120 was unreliable, and so was the Aim-7, but pilots could watch the enemy the whole time while guiding the missile
are you physically incapable of getting through your head the information that all hornets with amraams sit at 14.0 and not at 13.3?
yes gooner, and the R77 also sits at 13.3, its called the RVV-AE export
The Su-30 premiums should not be at 13.3. This is a simple fact. 2 wrongs dont make a right.
All existing F-18s with AMRAAM, even ones without HMD and C5s are at 14.0 with their full 2+10 weapons fit.
Though there are AMRAAM carriers like the F3, F4F and Viggen at 13.0, based upon your entire argument, are you saying the Su-30s should actually be 13.0?
yeah imagine being ratioed by someone with anime pfp.
How bad the argument you are putting forth must be for that to happen?
nah just you admiting to spending 80 dollars on a goon profile and a tank with a custom camo
You cant set your pfp by accident, so i pretty much intended for people to know.
And guess what, it still does not bring you any closer to AMRAAMs on premium hornets lol.
idc im just saying it could be a suggestion
Premiums rarely if ever get these kinds of changes because people spent money on them and purchased them with their current state in mind. It took 1-2 years of asking just to get the Challenger DS shell changed from L23A1 to its historically accurate L26, a 0.3 BR change
Its like buying a car from a dealership and then randomly, some time in the future, the dealership turns up, takes it back and gives you an entirely random different car without even asking you first.
I doubt many who purchased the F-18 premiums with Aim-7P as their primary loadout at 12.7 (and we could have a very long debate about whether or not this is actually under BRed for it) would be happy if it were suddenly at 14.0 and now fighting Typhoons, F-15Es and Su-30SM2s
one whole wikipedia image of a single test aircraft, wrap it up he got us
I dont think capability is the issue. It probably could.
Its a question of loadout and desired BR.
For much the same reason that the Jaguar GR1A and Phantom FGR2 are missing 9Ls or FRS1, T10, Tornado GR1 And F3 are missing Aim-9M or Tornado GR4, F3 late & Typhoon are missing ASRAAM. They would increase/Change BRs notably, not necessarily in the best interest of the aircraft in question.
The issue is an expectation that the F-18C early would get AMRAAM with a minimal BR increase despite like for like platforms existing at much higher BRs
Well first off both those premium Su-30s should both be 13.7, even more so with the upcoming decompression.
Second, the Hornet with AIM-120s/ AIM-9Ms is going to be 13.7 minimum even without the duel racks of AIM-120s as it has far superior radar (with 2x the DL channels and NCTR) and better RWR coverage
Third, until the next BR change patch hits then even 13.3 means seeing Rafs, EFTs and Su-30SM2s, which will be far worse to deal with than the Su-30MK2/MKK even with AIM-120.
AIM-7Ps are extremely good missiles, especially paired with the F/A18s great radar, the only issue is the AIM-9Ls can be rather lacking in an up tier.
I think itβs fine where it is, but would be ok with it getting AIM-9Ms and moving to 13.0.
all of those have duel racks of AIM-120s do they not? if it lacked the duel racks and only had AIM-120A not C-5s, maybe it would be 13.7, but I would not put money on it.

It seems like you donβt understand the context
Uh no
