Also apparently things like the 9030 FIN have the sight as well
Read what you’ve posted again, and compare it to the FCS functionality of the M1A2 Abrams. You’ll find no difference.
Why not just let the auto air tracking bee and implement the lead reticle so we know where to aim, that would meet the requirements and real life, aiming is sometimes easier manually anyway. This way we can resolve this issue and focus on getting the cv90 mk.IV which has all the bells and whistles you would dream of.
Get the tracker implemented with the reticle of aiming manually and get the actuall shell that is used today, the one for air targets currently is an old shell not in use. They should be able to shoot down incoming missiles of all sorts with good performance.
That video, have you heard what he says at 35:05 to 35:30?
at 35:21 he says: “as long as you hold the trigger, it will continue to aim the gun for you”.
NOT provide lead, not gun laying, he says AIM the gun.
so using this video as a source for things like the CV9040C lower ammunition storage it should also work as a source for the assisted aiming. (not gun laying).
Same as with this video (same guy so same source but different video) about the CV9030 FIN :
at 33:05, “i have lased the vehicle and have now let go of the gunners control handles”
and the turret still aims at the tank. The CV9030 FIN also has the same UUTAS sight that the CV9040C has.
The biggest issue i have with gaijins implementation of the cv90s AA capabilities is the fact they removed the rounds tracers that allowed you to walk rounds into target… Because irl the rounds don’t have them because the FCS accounts for everything so there’s no need for tracers to assist the gunner. However in game we’re simply left to guess and aim blindly at incoming aircraft. If your not going to give us the FCS assistance to track aircraft at least give us back the option of a tracer VT round.
