Is there any way to get to know ground battle maps without playing matches ? I mean so I could travel freely around the map to find out good spots, sight lines and other details. Learning those in battles can be a bit painful… ;)
You can start a custom match with any map you desire, and set the teams so you can go explore easily.

Sure you can! You can check any map by launching Custom Battles.
When you in hangar, select: Battles [top left] > Custom Battles.
Click [Creat session]
Select map.
Then set up conditions
(example I am using for screenshot session)
Put password, so no one will interrupt.
Launch battle and you can travel around map etc.

Or deseclect “Join in progress”, and start immediately. I never had anyone find a custom match of mine and join before I started.
