This is actually a “big” issue…low tiers is where new players usually are (although lots of experienced players also), game is usually slower and engagement ranges are also lower.
Short version…you have time to think and understand what is going on…
When you jump to higher tiers you usually become the less experienced player and the odds of being hit from further away (i.e without understanding how) also increase a lot.
Tech also evolve…more ammo types, more complex armor and other variables…
At tier 1-3 you usually see what kills you BEFORE it kills you, ammo is wither AP or AP with extra kill power and easier to find weak spots.

Right!?!?!? Someone comes to academy and they get this BS. When people post this it says “I’m a little kid playing from mommy’s basement.”
I’ll add that playing higher BR’s means drones flying and its likely your position is known to the enemy at any time. Additionally, we only have a few maps that are large enough to accommodate the capabilities of higher BR vehicles. After playing for a long time I find I have the most fun between 4.7 and 6.7.
Even if it is a skill issue that doesn’t mean we have to grind a newer player into the dust. He’s learning and he came to the academy to learn more not to be stepped on.

Just try to help him out instead of just stepping on him? Takes the same effort to step on him as it does to help him. Besides, he didn’t come here complaining about bias this and nerf that. He just dropped by and basically said “any advice?”
“Hmm im new to this free to play game ill just drop a few hundred dollars on premium vehicles before I know if I want to continue playing why not?”
The reason he purchased it doesn’t change the fact he asked for help on how to learn to play.
If he had started at reserve you would just be saying “skill issue” and not helping any. This is the ‘academy’ to help players learn not the ‘beat everyone down that is new’ forum.

in that case my advice is dont buy premiums.
Youre gonna die a lot more higher up than low down with the other new players
Yes sir! That is advice that needs to be put in the stat cards on all the premiums xD

You can use premiums with good effect IF you have a lineup to support them…
That advice is given all the time here in forum…and also that premiums are a food way to get RP and SL…although i don’t actually agree…several players like to call some premiums “money-printing machines” or similar…
Not in the stat card as i assume it would hurt sales :)

Just from my experience but in top tier if you are lucky (my experience) or you’re skilled (not me) every tank can be one shot, you just need to know where to shoot. I normally shoot at the lower front plate since I always encounter russian tanks. You should use the protection analysis on both your tanks and your enemies’.
