Why the eff they didn’t model the Object 478BE-1 variant as the Pak T-80UD?
The one with the unique welded turret, that actually is the more numerous variants (285 no.) within Pakistan’s inventory and not this one (only initial 35 no.)?
They just copy pasted the already existing T-80UD with just a thermal mod?

Better than nothing at least lol, the T-80UD 478BE/-1 has the opportunity to be one of the best ground event vehicles this year and they flop it. Best thing we can do is push for change and maybe the redemption arc could happen.

Why is a seventh T80U coming to the game? are you trying to make the 13 or so Magachs look less bad? its just boring and far too predictable, there’s dozens of other soviet tanks you can slap into other trees or add to the game but it always ends up being another of the same
Other variant of Derby can wait but Python 4 is much needed now, almost all ARH capable aircraft got at least gen 4 FOX2 meanwhile Python 3 is still gen 3 and gets easly flared

Another event Kfir, this time with the ugly droopy nose. Probably would have been better in the tech tree. At least it’s a fairly unique variant.
Another event MB, what about a tech tree version? MB.157 does not count. Still the most interesting one.
Another T-80 that offers little of interest after many earlier event-, premium-, and squadron vehicles.
Another Kongo class battleship, we already had the superior Haruna also in an event?
On top of that some of the ugliest decals and decorations ever.

Edit: to be clear, I’m not promoting unique vehicles should be event vehicles, just pointing out that these particular vehicles are odd choices because we’ve seen them all before and thus feel very uninspired.Plus some of them should have been in the tech tree.
Well that’s a load of poppycock imo, I would’ve thought maybe just maybe the Kirishima would’ve been a Great War configuration warship yet we see in its 1942 configuration.
IMO we should’ve got Hiei in a WWII Configuration as than it could’ve been interesting with the prototype Yamato superstructure while Kirishima is in the original format.

At least the MB.151 is somewhat unique as a pre war variant of the MB.150 yet like the Kongō class two of them are event machines.
I can’t say much for the IAI Kfir C.10 other than hey at least it has four AAM’s & maybe better CAS loadouts than the last C.2 model from a previous event.
The Pakistani T-80UD is exclusive and unique to Pakistan alone, Gaijin just failed to implement it probably by the looks of it. It’ll probably get a domestic APFSDS at least.
I am FEINDING the sl crates guys, past 2 years winter events told what was inside them… now its a later post whyyyyy I grinded 100 million sl for them and am still being edged for whats inside them for another few days
I was honestly thinking the same thing, it should be compatible with some Chinese 125mm APFSDS and the domestic shell itself is pretty decent by the looks of it. If it was also updated to the T-80UD 478BE-1 then it would be more than capable at 11.0.

The 478BE/-1 is entirely unique to Pakistan, it shares the same powerpack as the MBT2000, it has a welded turret unlike most T-80s and also has the Catherine thermal imager if I recall and that’s pretty unique in my books - it’s Pakistani.
The T-80UD Late is more similar to something like the T-84 rather than to the actual T-80UD.
