I hope next ground event will have something fun: thick armor or big gun. And, of course, with such expectation it will be low-tier (2-4).
Please, no boring high-tier copy-paste MBT or wheeled Bushmaster.
High-tier with >150 mm gun would be a dream (like Object 292).

Pretty meh event vehicle tbh, but if you are like me keep dying to Spikes then having APS definitely helps lol
Just have the T80UM2 and have a good vehicle. No therms but 11.3 T80U is pretty epic

me researching the Finnish ZSU-57-2(it will be my highest br vehicle I will actually play since WALL-E seems pitiful when stock)
This T-72 seems to have the best thermals in the Russian tank tree.
It “only” has Gen 2 thermals, not Gen 3. Gen 2 thermals are still quite good, especially compared to Gen 1’s. Check out this site if you want to see all the gen’s for NVD’s and TVD’s: https://thunderview.net/
At 12x zoom, there isn’t a huge difference between Gen 2 and Gen 3:

In 2024 and 2025 we got PLZ83-130 and FIAT FIORS in April and March. They weren’t incredibly good vehicles, but they were pretty fun to play. I also hope that in the next event we will get a cool thing for 7.7+ and not some copy paste stuff like in the case of this T-72.

In the summer. The UM-2 isn’t particularly interesting right now because it’s on par with the T-80U/UK.
Is Arena APS used by existing service tanks, or is it more test bed / prototype stuff?
Think they are still somewhat in their testing phase
i did see 1 mention of them supposedly having been deployed but nothing official
So they are either being used in a very limited/small number or not at all, seeing as a lot of their tanks currently relying on barnyard/wire construction right now to deal with certain threats
I agree with you 100%. I hope to see some more low tier vehicles! A couple that I am hoping for are the t-150 or the pz 2 J.

T95/28 and Obj 279 exist. Modelling all 2 tracks as 1 isn’t ideal, but the tank would still be addable.

Those aren’t anything like what im referring, specifically articulated vehicles which the devs confirmed aren’t possible in the game engine. Not like you would know considering you dont have the Elde or bothered to actually look into the vehicle given irl its one of the best off road platforms yet in game is easily the worst.
“Engine limitations” is just Gajin’s excuse for laziness.

Ive said that before more than enough times trust me, if the Elde had been Russian it would’ve been overperforming and great on release.
