Oh, well I’m Xbox so this doesn’t concern me
Another vehicle to get on the marketplace I guess, along with over 200 other vehicles locked behind a pay wall.
They want to keep the engagement up at all times and they’re doing that by spamming FOMO events.
Which in return means folks with work , can’t get the event stuff, leading to purchases.
You and I both know the way this conversation goes, I cannot go further or I’ll get banned xD
That’s the sad reality of event vehicles.
You need to make them extremely good and unique to even hope you’re going to sell them at the price of a premium vehicle of similar tier.
Playing WT exclusively to grind these FOMO events for GJN is never a good idea.
I mean, if you don’t want the tradable coupon you can grind it out by playing a couple of hours per day, which isn’t that egregious even for working people.
Grind to sell will always result in abysmal “hourly pay”.
I can’t I literally cannot sit and grind for 2 hours on my working days. Unless I decide to get up early and do it, but, I’m a grown adult I am not getting up early to just sit and play WT. That doesn’t include anything else bar work either, I work from about 12PM to 10PM, have dinner then chill for an hour or so. I spend time with family etc.
I don’t mean grind to sell, I mean a vast majority of people will have to pay GE to get event stuff, or with GJN due to not having enough time,
I missed the last one by about 14K points on 2 tickets. I wasn’t about to spend the GE to get em back for nothing
They’re counting on that being the case for plenty of people and as a someone with a job you’re more likely to spend money on the game. These events aren’t for our entertainment, it’s for their profits.
Just skip the event as a whole and buy the vehicle for ~20 GJN immediately after the event finishes.
Those selling at those prices are a breed of their own, basically working for literal pennies.
Yeah that is my point I just didn’t wanna say it so blatantly and get the forum ban,
xD yeah i could of done that, but it wasn’t worth the money at all.
I doubt you’re getting a ban for stating that.
Plenty of event vehicles are just meme ones that I don’t regret selling at all.
Wouldn’t be the first time mate. it’s against the ToS to critique the monitisations etc.
Aye man I’ve kept a few as well I’d wish I’d sold.
Hasn’t this been the case for a long time now? I have completely disconnected from Warthunder because everything is about events and battlepasses, in the past I could get excited for an event but they have become too demanding that I don’t even consider them, same with battlepasses and the whole daily system all being intertwined, either you commit impossible hours to the game or you get nothing.
Yeah it’s changed a bit, it used ot be you had to take it as a full time job, for the likes of the T72 Moderna and what not.
For this it’s just that they are throwing out events back to back, they said there was suppsed to be cool down times inbetween but it really doesn’t feel taht way
You used to be able to just complete the task based events in a reasonable timespan, get 30 kills, 15 captures, 30 assists or something was a lot more do able than this.
Plane tasks were especially easy with get 10 assists, drop 10t of bombs and 20 kills or 10 wins.
Yup I know. now it’s back to being needing to put in genuine hours into a match to get it
I’m praying this ends up being 9.3BR as my 9.3 German line-up is already a blast to play!
Ignoring the fact that the almost paper Radkamp is in the tech tree.
The largest weapon ever mounted on a TAM chassis, albeit slightly elongated, was a 155mm cannon and Palmaria turret. The TAM VCA “Palmaria.”

Some ideas for future events, nice to have Ger ground vehicles. Since camos are more and more dull for Germany, two camo suggestions as well.
Leopard 1 Giraffe tank (high up periscope ATGM)

StugIII field modded with 20mm cannon + operator.
Soviet 76mm PAK on Sd.Kfz 7

Rheinmetall Caracal funcar

Bundeswehr Munga funcar with 106mm recoilless AT gun

Kubelwagen funcar

One of the aviable Wiesel 20mm + ATGM combos

Camo: L2A7 with Barracuda spectral camoflage panels
Nice camo: 4. Staffel ZG (ZerstörerGeschwader) 76
Athens 1941

That is true however, keep in mind that the VCA’s chassis had to be modified to accommodate the turret and gun, specifically due to increased stress caused by the turrets weight and the 155mm guns’ recoil forces.

The entire 120mm gun thingy for TAM is more or less refering to the base hull and there is absolutely no evidence of a 120mm gun (e.g. the Rh 120 L/44) ever being fitted or trialed on it.
