Get the Iranian F-14A IRIAF in the ‘Persian Tomcat’ event

Context matters, you were replying to a chain of discussion regarding proper placement / subtrees.

“Getting the iran f-14 in the US TT is like getting the German mig-29 in the USSR TT.”
So no Iranian F-14 to US TT is not the same as German MiG-29 to USSR TT or anything of the like.
Iran is not represented ingame in any form. While Germany is represented.

If u cant understand that simple concept, than its not really my problem is it. English isnt all that hard.

idk about the strike thing, it gets a Hawk based rocket with a 750lb warhead

Main weapon would prob be the weapon existing in biggest numbers on said aircraft. For Iranian F-14A that would be Fakour-90 of which 6 can be carried at once compared to 2 underwing R-27R1

It is not. Nor would that be a reason to move US-made plane supplied to a US-allied nation which otherwise has US-made/based missiles (multiple) to a different tech tree.

This is pre-revolution Iran, so it goes to the US. If we see post-revolution Iranian vehicles in the future, they would most likely go to the USSR tree.

Australia and Canada are not a sub tree nation of the British tree. So their vehicles can be deployed wherever they are needed or most relevant.

  • If a nation has a sub tree home > It goes to that nation
  • If a nation does not have a sub tree home > it can go wherever its deemed most appropriate, suited or needed most.

Post revolution India went to GB.

It’s mainly an air superiority fighter, but yes it does get a few new indigenous payload options (such as off brand Aim-54 and stuff), and yes the new massive “rocket”. (Oh, and good luck getting in range of a Pantsir-S1 to use that thing…)

maybe you dont but Gaijin and most people clearly do

Can we get a statement on why India was chosen instead of Australia as a subtree for Britain?

Damn, that was why American and Germans grabbed all of the juicy parts of the Canadian and Australian army. Xd

No you are just adding context to where you think it needs to be to continue an argument that isnt even there.

? Iran is a pretty modern country. You can’t have a nuclear program if everyone is living in dirt huts

India was not chosen over anything else. Indian vehicles were simply being introduced to the game.

They were not chosen “instead of” anything else.

But will it have a ballistic computer for the rocket… that thing is going to make a big boom lol.

How did India become a subtree then? Britain had multiple Australian vehicles for years

My wonder is why it went to GB when all the vehicles added have been Russian and India severed it’s ties with GB long before those vehicles were made?

tell me who besides the manufacturer is able to reprogram the Analogue Ballistic computer on this 70s plane on this aircraft to include this rocket?

id be surprised if they were able to even acess the program

I would think they had the largest available vehicle selection that could help out the UK tree and fill in gaps that were needed. Game balancing

Analogue makes that easier tbh
