That’s an interesting idea considering GE wagers. Since they require wins (which is a team effort after all).
I played the Tornado yesterday in Air Realistic, and I can confirm that I lost almost every battle with it. But I don’t think there is a sure way to get into battles against Tornado teams.
The Tornado is not working very well for the event. Too many players use them, so it’s all about getting to the base before other Tornado players. I even saw one Tornado player teamkilled another Tornado player, just because the guy overtook him on the way to the bases. Some people use like the minimum fuel level required to reach the base, just to be first there. Then they cut the throttle and wait for enemies to kill them. It’s just crazy.
Tornados work great for me in AB, ideally downtier them even. In RB you compete as much with your own team as with the opponent, in AB you can often either get a lot of ground targets on domination maps where there are still 6 blobs of vehicles, or even better, any map with bases, take out a base every 30 seconds, then start working on the airfield. In-air reload is just so much better than rtb for reloading…

It only has R27R so its not so bad. Could have been ER.
AFAIK, Iran never had or used any R-27ERs, and the tomcats radars were found incompatible with the R-27 missiles as well, so the project to integrate them was canned and considered a failure.
So how close will I have to get with the longest range missiles and can I get kills before bs Amraam’s Slam me out of the Sky?
Technically AIM-54s have longer range than the AMRAAM.
Come on Gaijin. Please fix this. Its currently 11:23 pm (GMT) and it says this token ends at 12:30pm. But doesnt give a time-zone and its already ended by all accounts 2 hours early. Please add a time-zone to the tooltip so we actually know what time its suppose to finish or make it display the local time-zone. In either case. This token just finished 2 hours early

So why does it say 12:30 and not 11:00?
Please re-read the article:
The stages change every two days at 11:00 GMT: August 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 22nd and 24th.
11:00 GMT is 12:00 BST. The new task starts daily at 11:00 GMT and the previous one overlaps for 30 minutes finishing at 11:30 GMT.
Hence why you are seeing 12:00 and 12:30. Its currently 22:42 GMT / 23:42 BST.
