So im assuing this is going to be 9.7, can we get the Desert Warrior and stormer moved down to 9.7 at next big BR readujustment, as someone who has mostly spaded the M3A3 Bradley, Darado and VCC80/30 they are just better then the Desrt warrior and TBH they are not amzing at 10.0 themseleves.

The Stormer AD is much worse then the LAV-AD, and is much more comparable to the Gepard 1A2 which I think is still better even while being at 9.7.

Edit- The Begleitpanzer is better then all the 10.0 IFVs TBH, Tow2Bs are underperorming quite a bit, and they and just not meta in city maps which is about 50% of the rotation at 10.0 BR

I must ask , does that not mean the tank has access to it, but its been elected to not give it , due to wanting it to be at a lower BR?

This change has been long overdue

Stormer AD is where it should be
I would rather say that other anti-aircraft guns with stingers sit too low

Last i checked brs were supposed to reflect the tank not the other way around.

It did irl use L23A1 as far as i can see, same as CR1 MK1 had it.

Its gonna be a 9.7 with a garbage round facing off against 10.7 😅

maybe if the stingers worked, they cant lock onto helicopters or drones unless they are directly on top of you

They have half the G pull they should have and miss more often than they should. Stingers and Msitraals are underperforming significantly.

personally? lock range, flashbacks to not being able to get a lock on a heli at 1.35-1.5km

Shell selection is indeed a factor on tank balancing. Loadouts are not always simply what the tank used / had access too.

Eh… if its missing things like TVD then the vehicle itself might be better suited for a lower BR. If a round like L23A1 is “too good” for that lower BR then it makes sense to give it a worse round. But its a shame that they have to give it a fake round

with 20G overload and good noise protection I would put it at 10.3-10.7, depending on how long it can hold it

If its 9.7 you’ll ve facing off against leo2a4s and T80s that the standard L23 begins to seriously struggle with.

That doesnt cover the likes of the sabra mk1 with an 11.0 round and decent armour at 9.7

Why not give this the L23A1 round and place it at 10.0
Lack of thermals is hardly going to kill.it.

Unless its 9.3

Given the performance of the SAMs on the ZSU-23-4M4 at 9.7 (probably should be 10.0 as well) and the performance of other SAMs at 10.3. I think 10.0 would be the correct BR for properly modeled IR SAMs like the Stinger.

Yeah give it L15A5 then and make the round available for othrr tanks that actually used it.

Theres a few tanks now adays without thermals at 10.0 and 10.3

Leo2k, leo2av, PT16/14, T80UD, t72b’s etc etc theyre brought back by either a round, or mobility.

The t70s have the mango, while the leo2k and 2av have the mobility

As someone that has played about 50 9.7 games in the last week, i got about 5 full uptiers, about 20 10.3 games, 15 10.0 games and 10 9.7 games so it isnt too bad. There are 9 premiums and many lineups at 9.3 so you get pulled down alot.

Speaking of tank ammunition, is there a chance of seeing shir 2 getting the HEAT shell developed for the L30 from when shir was meant to be sold to the Iraqis?
