To be honest, I’ve never heard of a F-5 firing the AGM-119. It was mounted on it for testing yes, but never cleared for operational service.

ok so, you want a 10.7 airframe that is heavier and slower than the 10.7 ones, that has no radar missiles or a radar, at the same br as the mirage cs5? just because it gets decent missiles? thats just insane

I personally dont care about this plane much at all. Its gonna be DOA unless it gets some magic buffs it never had IRl.
That or itll get dropped at 10.7 or 11.0 with 9L/I’s and cause a massive storm then inevitably get moved up.
also the F5C realistically should be 11.0 not 10.7 the thing was fantastic at 11.0. ( im aware this the F5A is slower and heavier , this also has no internal Cms if what someone said furhter up was true
imo this plane should be like 11.7 at most, at 12.3 it would be outranged by like most of the planes of the br
and also the current f5c that is in wt is prob one of the most ahistorical planes in the game atm
They may have the same upgrade kit as what is equipped for the Taiwanese F5’s since iirc those also have countermeasures. May just be an upgrade but i dont believe the US mounted flares to them when they exported them. Only the F5E models had them.
After checking Samovar pods are set up specifically as jamming pods, so eventually when we get to EWS this vehicle can mount them, based on info they were part of the program to allow the mounting of Penguins.
The F-5A(G)s underwent upgrades between 84 and 86. These upgrades included an AN/ALE-46 RWR and ALE-38 CM dispensers. The ALE-38 CM dispensers are equal to those on the F-5C.
The version coming to the game is an even later variant, where the cockpit and the avionics were developed closer to the F-16.

Regarding the Samovar and Penguin combo, they were mounted on the aircraft together to provide a better protection suite during the attack.
Ive seen the images, only problem is checking Norwegian sites, my Norwegian is absolutely garbage (if we all spoke Danish it would be simpler lol)
