Vehicle classification in WT is very arbitrary, and in a lot of cases causes confusion and even frustration, because of wrong expectations.
Tbh most of those should be classified as strike aircraft, anyway above rank 5 it doesn’t affect anything, and it would be more accurate
At least the Viggens are distinct in their classification. The same should at least apply to the F-16 vs F-16XL.
They are also specifically placed into a strike and fighter line and aren’t event vehicles

So it did end up as an event vehicle… This is unfortunate since my W button (that I have set for throttle) is broken and upon trying for even a basic head-on exchange, I only racked up about a quarter of the way through the a star in 3 hours.
Looks like I’m sitting out of this one.
I’m very impressed by this one in test drive mode.

I’ve always used WASDQE for roll, pitch, and yaw, with shift and ctrl for throttle. What do you use for pitch?
This is the superior keybind arrangement
When I started playing it put throttle on W and S and the elevator on Ctrl and Shift and that is what I kept.

Just thought because of your controls: When I used to fly RC gliders, we always had ailerons or rudder on one of the two sticks, elevator on the other, haha! No clue why, always found it counterintuitive, but it worked… = )
