You can hope and thats all you can do

No, this is just going to lead to a dead game. They’ve disappointed German vehicle releases already 3 years in a row for users. PUMA was late, Alpha Jet late, Leopard 2A7 late, it took 3 years to give the German F-4 a ballistic computer, oh and you know the Vilkas which is the same fake modeled vehicle as this one, VJTF no armor kits, and we’re now sitting on the Boxer MGS.

Eurofighter in 5 more years when the Gripen/F-16/Su-27 is already out and nothing. Not a peep, just another Mig-29 with R-73s. Not even a Tornado that has decent arnament.

This is becoming a joke.

If you’re going to release a vehicle Gaijin. Make it right. Quit the double standards. It’s been seven years.

I agree but in some cases i also disagree. An example is the Vextra, there is no 10.x vehicles or lineup. Goving it its historical round would cause them to push it to 10.x, if they keep it nerfed than it can stay at 9.7 where france has a lineup. I agree vehicle’s should be given their historical equipment but germany isnt the only nation though yes gaijins current track record foe german vehicles is awful and i would like to see stuff fixed.

MD of Artec confirmed Boxer MGS is an A3 Boxer. LETS GOOOOO!!!

MGS has a gross weight of 38 Tonnes meaning it HAS TO BE AN A3.

The Boxer MGS lacks the new tires, which are the only recognisable external difference between the A2 and A3, as well as the CRV drive module.

It’s physically impossible that this is a problem, the vehicle is 38 tonnes as said, therefore it is an A3.

They’re using the British Army as a source, this is a joke. Posts direct statement from Managing Director of Artec which contradicted their whole statement and they ignore it.

The A3 includes new tires, which aren’t present on the MGS. It could have the upgraded suspension and engine but it’s 100% not a standard A3. The CRV drive module also has a max weight of 38,5t but uses the TE20 engine.
I would appreciate an engine buff as much as the next person but there’s just no proof the MGS has the TE21.

So it is most likely an A2/A3 hybrid then. I’m still very suspicious of Gaijin because I’m pretty sure TE21’s have been in service for Germany since 2015.

But as for the Tires, they make no sense. If the vehicle is 38 Tonnes, the tires physically cannot support 38 Tonnes, only a maximum of 36 Tonnes so either they’re gonna have to reduce the vehicles weight in game or this is just a paper tank.

The tires are accurately modelled.

It could be anything from the weight being wrong to KNDS just not giving a damn.

The Tires are changed dependent on the mission, but usually they showcase ZL or XML tires.

But bottom line, Gaijin denied the issue with the MD of Artec Stating the maximum weight limit for the A2 is 36.5 tonnes, and the A3 support up to 38.5 tonnes.

Listen to this time stamp.

I watched the video while looking for a second source for the reverse gear. The A3 drive module isn’t required for a 38,5t max weight. The CRV drive module can support just as much. Btw, do you happen to have a better quality picture of this sign from the WTS Koblenz?

Some of the sign is readable

They mention 36.5t is the combat weight. 38.5t is also a combat weight, not a maximum weight.

As I remember, ARTEC tested a weight of 41t in December 2021 on a Boxer A2 vehicle with added weights, so it’s not a problem for the MGS to have 38t.

Here they list the maximum weight as 38.5 tonnes (Artec)

And KNDS again quotes 36.5 tons as combat weight, not maximum weight, looks like a translation error in the ARTEC brochure.

Artec is the prime contractor though, so KMW probably get their info from them.

It’s KMW and the Bw information that is outdated or incorrect.

This is also not a Bundeswehr Boxer, as it has an SPECTUS driving sight which the Bw Boxers do not. Rather it is an internal model so it probably has the A3 upgrade to support the weight of the turret.

The British MOD not being more reliable than Jane’s is becoming a joke at this point lol
