The German Typhoon has a bug. The pod key (Aiming device perspective) cannot switch to the pod perspective, but the British and Italian ones are normal.

the British and Italian Typhoons have an IRST that doubles as a thermal pod
the german one does not, it can only go to pod view if you have the Litening III target designator equipped

The Litening III target designator is equipped, but the aiming device perspective key still cannot switch to the pod perspective.

are you sure the issue isn’t on your side?
I’m pretty sure this is a bug. With the same key settings, the aiming device perspective key works fine on other aircraft with designer (such as the Tornado), but not on the German Typhoon.
I have the same issue. I use specific keybind for targeting pod but only on eurofighter it doesnt work. On f-15e or other plane with tgp it works. It only works only if i use the “toggle view” to cycle trough the cameras.
I got so mad in a GRB match because my tgp keybind wasnt working and I got deleted by a pantsir :)))
Sadly, I cannot make a bug report because I play on geforce now but I hope people will do it.
