I wanna talk about two things. 1st is the Bismarck and 2nd the Gneisenau. We’ll start with the most obvious one: The Bismarck
I feel like the Bismarck doesn’t really fit unter the Sachsen. Yeah I know: Big 38cm guns, just like the Bayern-class. But the Bismarck is a fast ww2 battleship, just like the Scharnhorst. In my opinion, it would definitely be better coming behind the Scharnhorst.
And now to the Gneisenau. I don’t know who designed the model of the Gneisenau, but please put someone there who knows what he’s doing. I mean yeah it’s a copy paste Scharnhorst except for the aircraft catapult and a thing you forgot and I don’t know how that could happen: The masts. The Scharnhorst had two masts. A small one in the front and a big one in the back. The Gneisenau has three masts. One medium behind it’s command tower, one big behind it’s chimney and one small behind it’s catapult. How could that happen? You basically have pictures of the Gneisenau in the web, books, everywhere. I hope this will change because this is a joke

the 38cm refit wasnt just a turret swap, it was a fairly significant reconsctruction, (re)moving a mast might very well have been part of the refit
now the real question is whether gaijin based removal of the mast on actual documents or if its a bit of creative freedom (it’s a ‘‘fake’’ ship after all)
There are several plans for the Gneisenau that both show the two mast variant and the three mast variant. Nonetheless I think the Gneisenau should get her three masts to differenciate her more from the Scharnhorst

I was playing the Gneisenau yesterday and if you have a turret fire your ammo cooks off in less than 2 seconds pretty sure thats a bug
