German Naval History, Design, Performance & Dissection

really to be fair you aint hittin anything at range without HE-VT since last update

I mean the Soviets are somehow given hevt 100mm on the soyuez even though it’s a postwar shell, but unfortunately I think only France used the 105s post war and just German rounds.

I really just hope it’s given the twin automatic 37mm like on the z46/47

And using the 150 he tf shell is impossible lol

Bit old for what Gaijin wants for the game perhaps, at least currently, which is a shame really as cool ships they are.
It would however be cool if they introduced some of them in game alongside monitors and such to expand and give some more depth to the coastal trees.

Imho planes are rarely spawned in naval.

‘rarely spawned’.

Edit

That’s only the five I personally killed, not the other four that also spawned.

No they didn’t. They only get HE-TF.

Actually Soyuz get its most original plan rather than Project 23NU with improved anti air, so your ‘soyuz treatment’ means H-class would get sk c/30(Actually historical H Klasse design never had Flak M/42)

lol, lmao, Tiny mistake as you can’t see the round, but if we’re going to live by your logic (there were plans on upgrading h39 was if every actually completed ofc), The ussr was LITERALLY unable to produce cemented armor over 230mm so it needs to maybe receive a huge nerf as anything over should be face hardened with a significantly lower efficiently. And I’ll just stop you as you might not be educated well, no Germany would NEVER have sold battleship armor to the ussr, anyone with a child’s gasp of history knows that.

Also the Stalingrad has guns that literally never existed yet have frankly impossible performance lmao

Well, Germany quite willingly sold 380mm guns as well as a Hipper-class heavy cruiser to the USSR, so I’d be a bit less arrogant with any assumptions about what the Germans would or wouldn’t have contributed to the build-up of the Soviet navy.

(While selling heavy cruiser and naval optics)

never existed? XD

Just you want them never existed

Guess what kind of armor was on the 38cm SKC turrets? That Germany was willing to sell to russia at one point?

Did you say battleship level armor? YOU’D BE CORRECT.

Hell, even america was planning to sell a battleship to Russia but the deal fell through because Russia wanted 40.6s but America said no.

Edit

Also the fact Germany sold the unfinished Lützow to Russia, among other things, clearly proves that Germany would have likely sold ship armor plates to Russia had things gone differently.

sad to see how few posts it took for a ‘german naval thread’ to derail into another ‘my never built dreamboat is realler than your never built dreamboat thread’

It’ll turn back. It always does.

H39 will either be really good or just explode like Bismarck does if shells go toward the turrets.

Frustratingly.

I just want them to stop adding ships that never made it into service.
If the vessel never made it to trials (and that’s an embarrassingly low bar to clear), it shouldn’t be in the game.
I don’t care if it’s a Soyuz, H-x, Lion, Montana, Caracciolo, Mutsu, or Clemenceau.
If it wasn’t finished, it might as well not have existed in the first place.
And that goes for unfished refits as well, revert them to earlier specs or remove them entirely.

Then you’re gonna be waiting a while: the devs’ criteria for ships in warthunder was at least laid down or parts built for it.
which means A150, H39, H40 and countless other ships are on the table.

But given their severe lack of balancing, one wonders if Naval will last that long.

gee I wonder why they buried the bar that low

bismarck exploding is a bug in my opinion as theres no way i can see fire to reach the magazine

Germany only having two end tier battleships with 38s while america having multiple 40.6cm platforms and Japan with two 46cm platforms is a good enough reason.

Not a while. He should just leave this game on 2015.
