But can someone report the Lutjens destroyer from last patch? It just got one Rim starter and two slow firing single barrel guns. Where are its Rh 20mm autocannons? Cause a ship with absolutely no secondary is a bit^^ meh…expecially at this BR. Also: Does it even have the upgraded mod10 guns? Cause it doesn’t seem to have autoloading ones. It has the firepower of a reserve DD imho.
2x 30-40rpm sounds pretty fast to me

to be fair america is also getting favoritism aswell as they havent had any artficial nerfs on the IOWA or SOUTH DAKOTA and there only claim to fame of having one is the 14inch gun having a 40 second reload while other nations still have worse boats at same br as these “bad” 14 inch gun boats
I just stopped playing that BR range. Bismarck still unspaded. Let Gajins Favs duke it out. All others were pushed out. Bis is still detonating when hit into turret or barbette. Unplayable, as it used to be at its release.
Its just strange, that they are that stubborn. I play quite a few WW2 MMOs, WT is the only one without balancing. How do they think it even works out @ live? One category of ships light up when you just touch them, the other ones last until crew runs out…which takes long time?! Its that broken that I just can’t click on that “play” button.
Rh 202 was not with her start of life. It was at later part of her life with modernization that changed RIM-24 tartar to SM-1. So well, when sister ship added.
Who else is super excited for Z52 ? Gerät 58 and Mk303 as AA, can´t wait for it.
Can someone explain to me why the M42 flak gun on R130 doesn’t fire at the same point as the 2cm cannons? It always fires off-center. That´s total crap !
I’m also excited, it will be the destroyer that I’ll leave as AA support for my lineup, still waiting for Tirpitz and H39.
I have to admit that I haven´t grinded the Z52. I´ve started it but I´ll do it with the next BP task.
I don´t want more big ships, I´d rather have more smaller ones. Königsberg, Blücher, Scheer and Lützow. Bremse, Brummer, Drache 1908, Flottentorpedoboot 1940, Flottentorpedoboot 1941, Geleitboot 1941, Flottenbegleiter and a lot of Beuteschiffe.
I can understand, they’re small ships but with a good dose of fun, I’m almost finished researching the Z-52, I like using a 100% WWII lineup of ships and planes, with torpedoeboats and capitalships, I hope they can introduce Arado Ar 196B and A5 in the future.
Z52 is alright. Lütjens is straight up superior for AA support due to rapid fire VTF available primaries and missiles.
Although the Z52 is both a smaller and more maneuverable target.

I’d almost argue Z51 is superior due to the cracked out Base fuse HE but germany in general is pretty solid overall.
German battleships tend to lack penetration but have the fastest firerate of any nation. Westfalen is an unkillable brick for surface action but this comes at the caveat of poor performing, low penetration AP, no speed nor AA.
It’s in that weird BR of blatantly overpowered in a downtier but borderline worthless up tiered. At least it can resist some 7.0 shells
does anyone have a side photo of one of scarnhorsts or gniesnaus barbettes that shows the width allowing the future imporvement of the guns from 283mm to 380mm ?
As far as I know; this never got past initial planning before realizing it wasn’t worth it so I’m not sure if any artist interpretation exists

That’s true; I split my main ammo load and carry some for air threats, whenever enemies have tried to launch revenge bombing runs, whether dive bombing or torpedo attacks, the Z52 simply spits out its AA fire and quickly shoots them down, overall, I’m happy with this destroyer; it’s like having the Z46 and Z47 rolled into one, but slightly more powerful, I’ve also taken it into top tier matches and generally done well, though sinking battleships requires a lot of caution, strategy, and skill; On the other hand, the Westfalen is a solid ship against other vessels but is very vulnerable to air attacks, by the way, has anyone had much success bombing with incendiary bombs?
Only works on stationary targets and doesn’t kill crew fast enough regardless.
