I’m not even asking gaijin to add the ODAEON System, I’m rather just refering to the interim LWS, ODAEON will most guaranteed come into service with the 2027 production batch. There just isn’t a production order nor stress about development because there is no competitor that the BAAINBw considers. As long as ODAEON does as promised, it will be integrated, we had the same situation with the PUMA IFV and MUSS. (I get that “trust me bro its been the same before” is most likely not a credible source, but then the 95Ya6M and the F-15IA/F15C Golden Eagle have no place in the game).

I do agree, but I also like the idea of forum mods/devs being able to read this discussion and getting their answers out of it directly. The points of critique are credible after all. Information is scarce.

And Sweden once again gets the most out of it. Cause Gajin Devs think its a great Idea to attribute all countries north of Germany to Sweden and add every single unit Germany exports to Sweden.
They don’t even wait a bit until Germany gets its full Service tank, no they add the finished Norwegian one to Sweden, while Germany just gets a trash rollout pre series version missing alot features. Even without turret MG.
(Whose idea was it to make Sweden home of the most advanced Leopard models? Its a GERMAN tank model)

The Swedish Strv122 series are technically based on the Leopard 2A4 and have only seen moderate upgrades over time while the german Leopard series like the 2A7 and 2A6(EX) improved a whole lot over them, in War Thunder all Leopard 2s are based on the 2A4 though. I would like some armor change on the Leopards in germany to give them the edge. Germany never had the best Leopard 2 ingame outside of the Leopard 2A4 in its early days to themselves.

Imagine it would be like Sweden would permanently get the best Abrams or Challenger version, while the home countries were all the factories are get downgrades. Comm would go nuts.
I somehow guess they only add the A8 cause of pro swedish mods want the A8 added to Sweden. Cause for Germany that version is clearly not YET FINAL. It will hit the first unit next year. Fully equipped with LWS, secondary armament and new ammo.
Sweden would have been fine with the Strv 123A without Trophy-HV everyone knows that. I just want to even the grounds, as the german one gets a performance disadvantage while not getting a BR advantage in return.
And despite the 123A is rolling out of a bavarian factory, Germany won’t get it ever added. While Sweden gets simply every German Leopard. Its a hellish mechanism pumping up a small 8 Mio country as War Thunder superpower. How many Leopard tanks from how many nordic nations does a single tech tree possibly need? Its insanity.

I do have an argument here too though: I personally don’t see a reason for sweden to be it’s own TT and not split like singapore when we have nations with a rich military history such as poland that could be very well standalone too.
Anyway not what this topic is for, lets stick with the missing LWS ;)

This is a bit of a contradiction, the APS is far more of an disadvantage than the LWS will ever be
I meant it more as in sweden would have gotten the L2A8NOR at some point soon anyway, it would’ve been cool to see germany get it standalone for atleast 1 update cycle and have the Strv 123A act as a buffer.
