I was wondering if a more advanced form of stabiliser exists for ground based combat vehicles.
In my understanding, here are the generations of stabiliser systems:
Gen 0: shoulder stop stabilisers
Gen 1: single axis stabiliser (often only vertical)
Gen 2: dual axis stabiliser
Gen 2.5: three axis stabiliser (such as on the LWT or the Turm III)
Gen 3: 2/3 axis stabilisers but with sight stabilisation similar to how it is on aircraft TGP andhelicopter sights.
Now im wondering if those exist for ground and what vehicles even have them?

nealy all the sights are stabilized ingame with 2-axis stab cannons. Even some vehicles without stabs (like Leopard 1) have sight stabs.
what i mean is that the sight remains stabilised not in direction, but at point. it for example, a building is in front of you and you aim at it, and drive around it, the sight remains stabilised and pointing AT the building. while this wont “lock” onto the building but only so far as remaining stabilised to a point in space or on the ground.
i see. I believe modern tanks do have such feature but its not presented ingame, as has not much sense for a tank
