so,… when i do say that Magic-2 is worse than a 9L, i feel like i have far enough experience to told you that from my PoV it is.
i’m not saying that the margin is wide though,… but it is 9L that beat MAGIMP-2’s

Flase,… IRCCM doesn’t have it’s Seeker shut-off feature like 9M, and Current IFOV is too wide.
It’s not too wide for R-73, and it’s not too wide for Magic 2s either.
No-escape range exceeding 2.5km rear aspect against AB targets.

I’m not as knowledgeable on missiles as some but they are seemingly adding the MICA EM, which is similar to the AAM-4A?
Also Gaijin please start adding 2 airfields to Air RB. Having each team originate from one point on the map makes everything predictable and stale.

Oh, yes its name is AIM-120A, but the performance in the dev server is definite not like a 120A, it’s more like a placeholder.
- It needs some corrections or to be a switch in the settings. Overall great change because it’s an actual IRL thing.
But the rest of your points are just terribly wrong
To be honest I think you’re the only person I’ve ever seen complain about the Magic 2’s. Literally everyone else considered them to among the best IR missiles in game.

Experience is one thing but schizo takes are the other. We must be playing a different game if you think that Magic 2 is worse than AIM-9L. Literally the only thing AIM-9L does better than Magic 2 is range.

Apparently you can enable sensor view while actually playing a match using the key you bind in the “Spectator Camera” menu. I’m assuming this is not intended? It’s really cool though.

If Gaijin is to keep 16 vs 16, this would be the only way to make it work. Make top tier larger maps only, add multiple 1st spawn airfields, and spread the AI targets and objectives across the front line.
However, this is probably more effort for the developers than just reducing team sizes on the current maps at top tier.
There’s multiple ways to skin a cat per se.
While Bel is being over-dramatic about it, Magic 2s would not be my missile of choice due to its limited range compared to the others. It often puts you in far greater danger.
