I know that she has some APC abilities and can take gun fire basically a small swat truck. With infantry mode and armored cars like a hummer (no usable gun) this could be a version of that for a Japanese R.A.T.S Squad (local swat / anti - terror team) was hoping for armor data and stuff.
Still for a anti-riot vehicle it does look nice something out of a Sci-fi which is likely why there are model kits.
That is awesome as the Thai m60 would be special and with infantry coming the composite would have a job keeping you alive keep an eye out for the prototype.
Then again the wood armor would likely do the same job. Sad Gaijin never had that as a add on armor kit as I would roll with the wood armor even if it does nothing but make me slower.
And suggestion for BTR-4 Indonesia that pass to the gaijin DEV
there have an mention that no ATGM were instal on stysem
mean the Barrier Missile is presumably not in use by the Marine Corps since there was no report or evidence of it being acquired or used by the Indonesian Marines
I’m not saying Indonesia used them, but they could use them without needing to modify their BTR-4s. The launchers are there, just not the missiles.
I think if we get them or not is mainly going to be based on if Gaijin want it to fill a lower or higher BR, because the capability is there and now the final decision is up to them.
Guess what, thai Alpha Jets didn’t have the gunpod ir but we have it in game. If the ability is there then it doesnt matter that the specific nation doesnt use it. So we very well may see ATGM on Indo BTR-4
That’s because in this game Gaijin isn’t restricted to weapons that were used by nations on vehicles, or in many cases even weapons that they owned at all, but instead they go by vehicle capability. The Malaysian F/A-18D can use AGM-88A, the Indonesian Hawk 209 can use Sea Eagle. Adding weapons is really on limited by what a vehicle could use if you put it on, and decided by which of these Gaijin want in game.
I won’t say I agree with this all the time, but it’s how this game works, and more importantly how it works for every single vehicle. For example the Swedish/South African/Hungarian Gripen C gets AGM-65G which were something used only by Thailand, but are added anyways because they are technically compatible without modification and they wanted them on all Gripen Cs.
There is genuine fake weapons though, like the Thai F-16A OCU getting AMRAAM that it couldn’t use until (E)MLU modernization the in-game variant doesn’t have. Things like that shouldn’t exist even by Gaijin standards and can be bug reported, they are just slow at fixing these.
