Unfortunately it’s just a replica, but I believe the A7M3 was partially built. Still very cool.

Ki-15 has only a machine gun for self-defense, Ki-78 is unarmed, J4M1 was not built, Ki-94-I and Ki-84N were not built either. G8N2 and 3 were not built, G7M was not built either, Tenga is a total fiction. The Ki-87-II is just a project
-
Additionally, the photo of the Ki-116 is fiction. There are no photos of the Ki-116 aircraft.
-
Just for information, the Mitsubishi Ki-67-I AEW aircraft is already in the game. At the end of the war, the Japanese army began to introduce TaKi 1 radars to equip many aircraft. For example, the Ki-49 or the Ki-67

Yes, I know I’m nitpicking.
Funnily enough the G8N2 is in the game files.
o mai gotto…
That’s not even all of them
we still have replica’s/mockup’s including kitbashed/fictional vehicles (LOOKING AT YOU OSTWIND II AND ZERSTORER 45) in the game so maybe the A7M3-J Kai could be an event or BP vehicle something new but also very unique since if i recall it was intended to be a turbo jet
I thought the Ki-43-II never got Ko/Otsu/Hei models since those almost always meant a change in armament. Are these to differentiate the revisions it got?
as an aside: the american captured Ki-43-II is the latest Ki-43-II in the game, the japanese one is an earlier model. However both have the same performance.
I’m not saying it’s impossible to be added, perhaps since a replica was made, gaijin would be willing to skirt the rules a little. But I don’t see it happening.
Yes. The American Ki-43-II is the Otsu version, and the Japanese is the Ko version. There is also the Ki-43-II Kai / Hei
As I know - yes. Ki-43-II never had Ko, Otsu, Hei designations
Interesting, in Bunrindo’s book on the Ki-43 it was said that the Ko/Otsu/Kai etc designations were never applied to the Ki-43 and are a postwar creation used to differentiate the revisions they made.
That would line up with what I read.
However, it is probably better to use the incorrect designation Ki-43-II Ko/Otsu/Hei than the early, middle and late Ki-43-II
Maybe, but I think early/mid/late would be much more accurate, it better represents what each model is.
Actually, as many as 5 different modifications of the Ki-43-II are shown here. This is where the problem with naming the plane appears. Well, unless you know the date of the modification.
let’s pray
Yes, there’s so many that introduction dates become necessary. Although finding those is probably next to impossible for all 5 revisions…
Interestingly, the Bunrindo book claimed that all Ki-43s with the Ho-103s had 270rpg, even the -II and -III. In-game these two have 250rpg and only the earlier -I gets 270rpg.
Do you know anything about this? I might bug report it later if this table is accurate.
I checked all the books and PDFs I have and then searched on the internet. None of my books or PDFs give the amount of ammunition for the Ki-43. The only thing I found is this:
Alright, if I make a bug report I’ll link it here then.
I think more information should be checked before reporting
