Im going to go out on a limb here and say that it will not be getting the option to lock onto tanks. Gaijin will not allow a plane to have that many guided bombs no matter how hard it is it aquire a lock in the first place which is a shame. Both in ground and air as i would have loved to set a ccrp point on a fuel depo and just toss bombs at it to have a slightly more acurate dumb bomb toss but i guess i can just stick to 15 bombs on a lutgens.
could we get any information on the upgrade f15JSI ? i think if my understanding is correct it would be good 14.7 jet
i don’t think there really has been any news on it, I don’t think its even gotten near to production (maybe even prototype phase) yet.
OI GAIJIN, GIVE US THE F-86D already.
I think the remains of the Ha-Go variant might be Manchu in origin. It’s not the same as Standard Japanese Ha-Go, and considering these likely were serviced in Manchuria and the Korean Peninsula. Chances are they weren’t native built Jaanese, Machine gun port sort of gives me that impression. Would be kinda cool if Gaijin added it as a Premium variant tbh, and it wouldn’t even be hard to do. Since the only real thing that needs a chance is fewer bolt heads and changing the machine gun model.
Now I wonder

When will we get Chi-Ha with smoke canisters?
There’s nothing I want to see more in the game than the ki-87-II

Should I try to make a suggestion? 🤔
Well, here we could indeed add other ground vehicles from Japan during World War II. There were also projects for other types of equipment that were “intended” to be equipped with some unusual weapon (let’s put it that way).
Type-1 Ta-Ha
Spoiler
Essentially, the Japanese wanted to create an anti‑aircraft gun based on the Chi-He/Chi-Nu, but with 37‑mm guns. But the project was not destined to come to fruition.
However, there is very little information about this technique here, as different sources provide conflicting information. In some places, it’s a complete prototype; in others, it’s unfinished.
In some places, it’s just a rough outline.
I don’t know the degree of readiness.

(The So-Ki is mentioned here simply for your reference.)

Ji-Ro
F-1, F-2A, F-4EJ Kai (idk for the classic EJ), F-15J and J(M) (9 of them)
T-2 shouldn’t have them, but for some reason a photo of one with 4 of them exist.
Same as the F-4EJ Kai, since it uses the exact same bomb racks for Mk.82/JM117s
All they require is Mk.82/JM117 capability (aside from weight/size limitations), so T-2 can absolutely use them even without the CCIP or dual racks of the F-1. They are dropped like dumb bombs and fully self contained.
It would even be able to carry a fifth under the fuselage, since we know that has enough clearance from an in-flight photo of the FS-T2 carrying it.
The F-15s also didn’t carry them, they only had the technical capability, so it’s up to Gaijin if we get those now.
What did the Ki-87-II improve over the first model?
Looks
Wikipedia mentions an engine with an output of 3,000 horsepower—then again, it is Wikipedia, after all.
I’ve never seen a Japanese 37mm; in fact, I know there’s a suggestion about the Type 1 Ta-Ha. So seeing the 37mm sort makes the design we see with the box more likely, if anything. Though i highly doubt it was on a Chi-He Body.
Now, I think what I do want to see is the Jiko-Chi-Ho.
Here’s another topic thread.
That you might enjoy.
The turbo charger was to be mounted on the underside of the fuselage, witch allows the nose to be streamlined a little. the powerplant was to be replaced with the experimental HA-217(HA-46-11), which it’s supposed to produce around 3000hp.
Edit: in all, most the aircraft was built technically; with the engine not put in. Kinda like the first R2Y2 except we know the guns it has and purpose of the aircraft.
Edit 2.0: I just want a super-prop single engine fighter in the tech tree.
Edit 3.0: its supposed to use a similar turbo charger arrangement as the ki-94-II and ki-100-II.
Looks at the j7w1 and sighs.
With the bomber revolution the J7W1 is great point at the cockpit and the 30mm do some magic. Even if you don’t hit the cockpit the 30mm do some damage!
Thank you
The only flaw with it is its artificial engine speed and turn that isn’t accurate to the irl thing.
