If we are really getting the SAMP/T this update, I hope the Aster-30 accelerates as quickly as in this video.

Still sad there’s nothing on the WW2 Hungary air line.

Same with late war to cold war tanks. No TAS, no ERA modded MBTs.

How many T-72s did the Hungarians modernize? If it was just a very low number of units, it would make a great squadron vehicle, which Italian ground is still missing.

There was only one prototype made by CURRUS RT. I know it’s a rare example, but it’s at least unique to the copypaste we usually get, that’s why it’d be more fun to see them foldered with the vehicles we got. But yeah as a squadron it wouldn’t be bad either. There also exists a Hungarian T-55 modernization with ERA.

By the way, here are some of my older reports:

KF-41 missing rubber track pads

KF-41 - ROSY smoke deployment being wrong

Centauro RGO - bicolor desert camo listed as forest type

There is also this minor inaccuracy that really triggers my OCD: Incorrect model of the Hungarian Leopard 2A4

Seeing as Romania is officially a subtree, shouldn’t it also be in this thread?

Would be nice for Italy to get some heavy tanks in the tech-tree.

Hungarian IS-2 1943 and 1944 (notice 1943 has a pintle DShK aswell.

I spaded all of Italian ground up until about ~11.0 and then basically quit the tree. Gaijin needs to massively buff and overhaul the entire rank 8 italian bracket.

The Italian ground tree is one of the best tech trees I’ve played.

Just started stock grinding the Leopard 2A4, and spading a 2A4 after years of not is a rather nice change of pace.

On my way to the 12.0 lineup that’s rather great.
2A7HU and Ariete AMV, with the other Arietes as backups.
Peak.

With the scout UAV changes I’ll likely use the KF41 in the top lineup as well.

I anticipate the new SPAA I won’t get until next year coming next update.
Plenty more vehicles to add and enjoy as well.

You can discuss Romanian vehicles too. I didn’t include them in the thread’s title and on the “map” as their number of vehicles in game is very low. Additionally, Gaijin doesn’t seem to be planning a full on Romanian line, rather just occasionally add a vehicle to fill a void in BR, or a premium.

In that case, I present the battle taxi

The Hungarian Leo 2A7 is one of the best MBTs in the game, yes. Arietes, on the other hand, are one of the most disappointing. While they are fairly mobile, they have the same reload speed and similar mobility to Abrams while being much less armoured.

That’s what I do as well. My friend, who was the reason I started playing Italy in the first place (originally, I was a Japanese main) kept telling me that Freccia is much better than KF-41, but for me the KF-41 just works much better.

I will spend all my boosters to get it ASAP. I just hopes it performs much better than my Tan-SAM kai.

Also, Centauros are one of, if not the, most fun vehicles in the entire game. I got almost all of my nukes with them.

You are missing out on a lot. Top tier Centauros are absolutely insane and very fun vehicles. OTOMATIC is a heli removal and with APFSDS, it an also be a very fun tank destroyer. Hungarian Leo 2A7 is very competitive. The only rather underperforming vehicles at Italian top tier are Arietes.

By the way, I realized that the Hungarian Leo 2A7s are not always fitted with the .50 cal RCWS. Would it make sense if Gaijin made the RCWS optional as a modification? I can see how someone would prefer not taking it as it somewhat increases your signature.

I find it unacceptable that we don’t really have a production variant of the B1 Centauro in the tech tree. The 9.3 Centauro is preseries production, the 9.7 is one of a kind variant, the VRCC is a Spanish premium production variant, Centauro 120 never reached any real production, Centauro RGO is a production variant, but again, premium and Omani.

I’d love to have a proper production variant in the tech tree itself, fe. the 3rd serie like this one:

There is even a suggestion for it:

Not to mention we are long overdue for the B2 Centauro.

Doesn’t look like it. The previous Centauros were ok but basically just… ok and all the 11.7 one does (theres only 1 later cent on tech tree) does is give it a better gun and thermals from what I see

Otomatic is extremely bad :)

Yeah but I can play it in a better tree

Thats a ton of what you have to play, like 30-50%

How can you say any of what you said when you don’t even have those vehicles? Is this just a ragebait attempt?

Edit: appears you do have Centauro 120. Give it a shot again, perhaps you just need more than 13 battles to appreciate it’s rather unique playstyle.

hn bruh only reason its at that high of a BR is because people play it like a TD. Its a really good vehicle if you play it right bro

It would be a great defense against planes if only gaijin didnt break the proxy fuse against missiles and bombs. Used to easily destroy air to ground ordnance, but for some reason it doesn’t anymore. It can however still deal fairly well with helicopters. It also works wonders against scout drones, which is these days, ever since the scouting glitch came, a good trait as well.
