Looks rather small tbh, might not even even be comparable there either.

could ask for SPICE’s too I guess

gaijin seems to be giving them to everyone now

They require integration, can’t be added to the American one via technical compatibility.

so do JAGMs, but those were passed out like candy to aircraft that havent received the integration

They already went over this, they decided that since it’s meant to be fully compatible with hellfire capable platforms they can have them too. Whether I agree with that or not is a different story, but SPICE is also a different story as well.

and? are F15s and F16s not compatible with SPICE?

especially as it uses the standard NATO wiring and everything

No, not by default. It requires integration via its manufacturer. They’ve optimized it to be a seamless integration, but it’s not something you can slap on the thing and let it rip. Without integration it’s not compatible.

so the same situation as with JAGM? as it also requires software changes to be used

I’m not about to dig through multiple R&R threads and thousands of messages for something they said awhile back, but if my memory serves me a CM (prob Smin) relayed that the devs decision to add them was that they concluded it should be compatible by default without any integration necessary. If it isn’t, they’ve made a mistake and that’s on them, but we know Spice series bombs aren’t compatible by default which is the point of my argument.
Their official rules for weaponry usage is and remains that a weapon can only be considered for addition to a platform if it tested it, used it in active service, or is known to be fully compatible with said platform. The Spice falls into none of these categories for USAF aircraft. Gaijin seems to think the JAGM falls into the last category, whether they’re right about that or not doesn’t change the rules and you’d have to prove them wrong (which maybe someone’s done by now idk). However I have a feeling that even if you do that they ain’t removing it bc gaijin (looks at Kh-38MT…)

No it needs software upgrades for JAGM-MR. Same as SPICE integration on the F-15E. So they added it incorrectly.

All LDIRCM should be promptly removed from non-US AH-64E’S

JAGM-MR should be removed from any AH-64E that is operated by a country that doesn’t have base JAGM’s

Classic gaijin then not doing their research…

Is there a bug report on this I can support per chance good sir?

I think they know they just ignore it and focus on the hellfire part even though that’s for base JAGM. also because “balance”. For JAGM and LDIRCM.

I might give a report a shot though

Oh so there’s different JAGM variants? Perhaps that’s what caused the confusion, or they’re just trying to use it to rationalize this decision and purposely ignoring that lmao. Balance might be a factor, but if they are going by their states rules of implementation it shouldn’t be one, could be an exception of some kind or just them ignoring their own rules which is also nothing new lmaooo

Either way if you do make a report please let me know! Thanks for chiming in with the info ❤️
