I’d also like to remind everyone that Gaijin did hold off on adding the F-2A claiming that it would be way too strong, and now they’re decided to add it way past the time it probably should’ve been added
Funny thing is we already have the fantasy F-16AJ literally in the tree before the F-2A, something completely made up, so it’d be amusing if the AJ gets a free pass somehow but conversely the F-2A is delivered incredibly true to reality.
If that aircraft is any precedent, they should add the F-2 Super Kai as a consolation prize for delivering the F-2A so late. 😂
F-16AJ is a fictional plane based on YF-16A that was proposed to Japan as upgrade of F-4EJ fleet. It is implemented to more or less realistic expectations of it
I wonder why J/APG-2’s NCTR can only identify 9 kinds of aircrafts or flying objects. Shouldn’t it be like Rafale’s or Su-30sm’s, which could recognize the specific type of an aircraft? As a newer radar retrofitted in the 2010s, doesn’t it have this feature?
Another question is, why the F-2a is lack of MAWS/ omnidirectional rwr?
Because community wasn’t able to find much information about J/ASQ-2 IEWS and gaijin doesn’t care enough. Maybe somebody should ask DMM to ask JASDF directly, becasue publically there practically nothing about it
On this I wonder what was Praetorin DASS of EFT based on becasue I’m pretty sure technical documentation for it is also classified
Currently, the F-2A is among the best 13.7s in the game.
AAM-4B would make it 15.0 minimum.
Ahistorical changes would increase its lethality beyond that of 13.7.
Ohhh I know why, it’s cause it got added to the Typhoon for Gaijin to PRETEND they care about it, but out of habit they had to nerf its newest weapon :(

This means that there is no significant increase in range for the same size, as there is with the AAM-4.
If you want truly long-range missiles, you need the AIM-174 or Meteor.
I mean until the meteor gets added there will be increases in range, but very slightly and it will progress rather slowly until we get to the 120Ds (unless Gaijin just want to full send it by the end of the year, you never know.)
Not really true at all. (also F-2 Super Kai is paper)
For modern(ish) vehicles, it can still receive F-4EJ Kai ADTW (Similar to F-4F ICE), F-15J(M) ADTW, F-2 variants (XF-2, F-2 (E) / (L)), T-1/4, F-15DJ, F-15JSI, and other F-15J Variants (missing upgrades). If we want to add captured vehicles then the MiG-25P!
Other than that, I assume some ASEAN country (or just ASEAN) can come as a subtree, as Thailand only really has the F-5TH + Gripen E left to add.
