I’ve been playing war thunder for quite a while and now my pc is pretty decent, but recently i got an rx6400 and even if its worse than my rx580 im using rn i wasn’t expecting the game performance to be more than 3x worse, its just impossible to get even 60 fps with medium graphics with the 6400 but its not the only case I’ve seen the performance of the game get bad.
My friend plays war thunder on a ryzen 5 5600g , he used to play at medium graphics at 40-50 fps, yesterday we had to make him play with ultra low quality for his game to not freeze and run at 20 fps . Has been quite a while as well that on steam at least, the game has been updated every single day, im not sure but i think this could be a reason for why the game is performing so bad. My friend plays EVERY DAY so from a day to another his fps started to go down and down…
I had the opposite experience. I sometimes play on a laptop with integrated graphics and that usually got around 60FPS at ULQ. Played on it like two weeks ago and got around 120 with the same settings.
