Are you a dedicated and keen pilot, tanker or captain wishing to actively contribute and help shape the War Thunder Project?
The Game Master team is currently looking for new recruits willing and eager to help improve the game by processing and actioning chat reports and moderate public chat channels in the game.
What are Game Masters?
Game Masters are mainly responsible for any chat related issues, and process incoming chat reports from players, moderate public chat channels in the game, and answer to chat moderation related questions via forum PM’s. With this, a GM helps maintain a friendly atmosphere within the War Thunder player community.
Requirements:
- A clean in-game history regarding chat bans and game bans.
- An ability to always keep personal bias and preferences apart: Fair, decent and objective reactions and communication is an absolute must in any situation.
- A positive connection to the game as well as a desire to make the game better.
- An ability to work in an international volunteer team, sociable, and able to communicate on various communication platforms.
- Solid proficiency in both spoken and written English.
- Must be over 18 years of age and able to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement as well as being a trustworthy and responsible individual.
What would also benefit:
- Any additional languages spoken are an advantage! Currently we’d be very interested in people proficient in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, …
- Good knowledge and understanding of the game and its mechanics as well as being an active player in the game and in the Community.
Day to day tasks and responsibilities of a Game Master:
- Processing player in-game reports and issuing sanctions where necessary / appropriate.
- Moderation of public in-game chat channels.
- Responding to user queries, issues and problems regarding chat and moderation.
