i dont think its necessarily a mindset issue in this case, sure its definetly a thing irl but ingame? dead people are very hard to lift, dead people in combat gear inside a cramped space? thats probably not going to happen much more likely they just bail out, i dont think gaijin would or should had this mechanic.
there was a certain conflict the M1A1 was famously used in.
aware of that, i just gave him an IRL reason for why that would make sense, def not something i’d see added, don’t see gaijin considering corpses being in the way nerfing the reload either
absolutely gaijin literally models crewmen as knocked out
Takes 120mm to the face
sleepy
for age rating reasons iirc. same way it says infantry neutralized
Age-rating in goon thunder, imagine that
Not quite sure how that’s relevant, but okay.
Are you saying the M10 Booker should have M735 instead of M900 because it’s never seen combat?
Or that the T-72A should have 3BM-46 because it’s still widely used in combat around the world today?
its pretty clearly meant to represent a Desert Storm M1A1

Firstly, Because… ?
Secondly, I don’t think regular tech tree vehicles in War Thunder are meant to represent a singular specific vehicle per se.
There are of course exceptions such as historical vehicles of which only a single model was produced (prototype), or vehicles such as the Ersatz Panther or T26E1-1 which represent unique modified versions.
I’m sure you could find some form of identification on a in-game vehicle that can be traced to a single historical counterpart, but the performance of the vehicle is simply meant to represent that type of vehicle as a whole.
For example, F-16’s have tail markings which match historical counterparts, but they’re not meant to be modeled after that very aircraft, just an F-16A in general.
i mean a Desert Storm M1A1 as in a base M1A1 with features and armament from the time, not a specific M1A1 if thats what you thought i meant

I’m not the one who wanted realism.
It was an example.
Type 10 with a round ready to be loaded is 3.5 to my knowledge.
That doesn’t take into account indexing, gun leveling, and any other factors.
Whether Type 10 can sustained 3.5… it’s entirely plausible indexing will cause it to be 4.0.
That could be incorrect, as I have not found any video of 3+ rounds being fired back to back with 3.5 seconds between each.
Cause even right now, Leclerc’s 5 second, and T-80U’s 6 second is still going next-round then loading.
T-80BVM’s 6.4 is 2 indexes then loading.
If Gaijin ever gets around to simulating indexing, and now gun leveling since they aren’t simulating gun leveling anymore, I’ll support that.
youre just speculating though, gun leveling is obviously took into account in the 3.5 claim as that exist because of footage, and indexing? why would it take 0.5 seconds.
It’s also speculation to assume 3.5 is a sustained fire rate.
Especially when gun leveling brings that to 3.87 seconds.
Or 3 seconds and 21 frames of a 24 FPS video…

Worst part here is that the m829a2 is not underperforming at all. And that its probably one of the best toptier rounds in terms of damage.
not in penetration likely, but its underperfoming like most modern nato rounds as it has no anti era capability modelled
It’s called “RUSSIAN BIAS” because Russian tanks suck so they need 500000% buff
