I see this issue multiple times on the bug reporting forum, but now I wonder if there is anything I can do on my end.
This is what I added in the bug report:
I’m using macOS 15.7.4 on an Intel MacBook Pro from 2020 using Iris Pro integrated graphics. The game is running through the macOS x86_64 client with “Old Videocard Support” enabled, as the game does not launch without it.
The game consistently freezes during Ground RB matches when I enter the sniper/gunner sight while the tank is moving, especially while peeking or cresting over terrain or cliffs. This happens with every tank tested and is fully reproducible. Even when I don’t move, sometimes the game just freezes.
The issue does not occur in Test Drive and only happens in Ground RB matches. The freeze survives multiple clean reinstalls of the game and persists regardless of graphics settings.
The problem appears related to rendering or camera transitions under Ground RB load.
I read the log somewhat, it basically said:
The thing that crashed the game was: MTLIGAccelRenderCommandEncoder::drawIndexedPrimitives, it tried to render something
writePSState()
programPipeline()
drawIndexedPrimitives()
and then: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Which to my understanding means the game tried to use memory that it couldn’t.
This consistently also happens in naval modes.
I do have a relatively low end system with 8gb memory and an intel i5 using iris pro, but this does not affect the air mode.
I believe this is a bug
Please look into this problem.
