I’ve been experiencing an issue with War Thunder recently where the game crashes during loading screens. I’ve tried a few solutions, but so far, nothing has worked. Here’s a detailed description of the problem:
Issue Description:
- Problem: The game crashes every time I try to load into a battle or when transitioning between menus. It happens specifically during the loading screen, and I get a crash to desktop (CTD) with no error message.
- When It Happens: It happens every time I try to start a battle, whether it’s Arcade, Realistic, or Sim. The crash seems random, but it consistently happens after the loading bar finishes and the game is about to enter the battlefield.
- Error Messages: No specific error message appears; the game just closes without warning.
What I’ve Tried So Far:
- Restarting the game and the PC.
- Verifying the integrity of game files via Steam.
- Updating graphics drivers (NVIDIA drivers are up to date).
- Lowering graphics settings to minimum.
- Disabling any background applications running (e.g., Discord, antivirus, etc.).
- Reinstalling War Thunder.
Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue.
