Hello everyone,

I’ve encountered an audio error when running this game on my computer.

Error symptoms: There’s constant noise, and it’s amplified during game audio such as firing/explosions. There’s also noise when playing videos in an external Chrome browser (it returns to normal when the game is closed).

Reproduction method: Unknown. This issue occurred a long time ago, lasting for weeks or even months, and then suddenly disappeared after an update. It was working fine for the past several months, but the problem has reappeared today.

CPU: AMD 5800X
GPU: AMD RX7900XT
RAM: 32GB

Or even describe the noise… white/pink noise… constant hum… high pitch squeal… something that changes pitch/frequency?

(maybe just the voices in your head just humming loudly? … kidding… fun comment)

does your computer become entirely unresponsive? sounds more like a computer issue than an actual game issue.

Update your drivers (+ Audio drivers) and try again.

This 100% looks and sounds like a computer issue. I had similar stuff happen with my old laptop before I switched to a PC.

I had the same issues with mine, except not nearly as loud.

Just few days ago, my driver is updated to latest version. 26.3.1, and I got this problem.
So I returned to 26.2.2, but still.

If I don’t play warthunder, then computer is fine, play other games is fine.
If I play warthunder, and have this issue, the whole system will have problem. After I close warthunder, system back to normal. But when I tried to run another game without restore system, the problem will show again, not so bad as warthunder, but it happens.

But this problem only shows when I play warthunder.

Switch to Dx11 and use lower settings. Monitor your GPU/CPU and such while in a test flight to see how it reacts, compare it to other games that are more intensive.

I can play battlefield 6, no issue.
DX11 warthunder, failed.
Lower setting, didn’t try yet.

After BF6, I tried WT again.
I use high graphic setting, DX12. And no problem.
Don’t know why, I will try more tomorrow.
