I need Gaijin to fix their major issue. I have HUNDREDS of unregistered projectiles which makes me about 300 lost kills. My controls also block from time to time for “no apparent” reason. And those usually cost me my CAS since I can’t evade missiles.
My wifi connection is the least of my problems. 30 ping, 0% PL, +150 FPS and I run ethernet from my main router that has +200 Mb/s of download/upload.
Tried multiple spam clicks. Nope.
Does anyone have any advice before I go crazy for missing out on so much RP?

Actually, it’s part of the issue… Wifi isn’t a constant connection, and even if you’ve got no packet-loss, it doesn’t mean it’s not muddling them up or that it’s not having jitter effects.

Yeah ik that, but I get that almost every game. That is not normal.
It is normal if you’re using wifi… It’s bad, categorically…

So the best option is I guess to accept it right? I mean Gaijin said 2 major updates ago if even 3 I think, that they fixed the issue when your shell didn’t register when you shot but died at the same time. That has been happening to me. I even saw my shell exist my barrel and didn’t register because I was dead.
That or get better WiFi/Ethernet…
They fixed that on their side. They can’t do anything on your side having bad WiFi
You are telling me that +200 Mb/s internet is not enough? Im not spending tens of thousands of $ on a fiber cable. Tf is wrong with you people that is already VERY GOOD internet.
Yes, that sounds like part of the problem. I mean, I play on 500+ Mb/s and I still ghost shell sometimes.
It’s only as good as it’s weakest link, and that is the wifi on the outset.
You could tune it such as using different bands, channels or designation of wifi, but the best bet is to not game on wifi.
Long ago I was messing about with wifi, and I found that the best way to game on it was to have your gaming rig on the actual ethernet connection, and stream across the wifi via Steams remote play or something like midnight/sunlight.
Wifi N, could be rolled back to g or b, instead of 5ghz, 2.5ghz. Even changing where you are, could be something. A signal can actually be ‘too loud’ at times, or it can be hindered by a wall with some more substance. Hell, even an errant fridge can wreak havoc.
((All of this assumes that it is the wifi… You could try setting one server set, rather than auto if you have auto selected.))
I tried every type of server from auto to specific ones. EU is ofc. the best since im in Europe neibhoring Hungary or Gaijin’s HQ. It’s most likely their “hampster” servers.
fiber cable is usually used only between ISP and your home router, not between your home router and your PC/laptop (unless you really know what you’re doing, even then, you can easily get a cheap and good Ethernet cable which will be much more constant than WiFi ever will
I have a rather old and slow router (like 2005), yet I get a constant, unhiccuped internet connection and have yet to see a ghost shell (download and upload is 80mbps)
get wired, wireless sucks for performance, it’s just convenience for office and social media, not at all competitive video games that require very quick internet data transfer
