Gonna be honest I’ll never click a TEC video lol, I care not for slop tubers who show their bare ass on stream lmao.
Regardless it’s the nature of the vehicle that gaijin thinks reducing its BR is helping when it’s not. Gaijin could buff it’s reload as a way to help it since lowering its BR does nothing.

Valid? Brother I know all about the IKV I played it then lol
TEC isn’t really a good source for opinions either on the matter.
My point is the vehicle is fine where it’s at, it’s not just about sending it down, the vehicle is just a meh vehicle its gun can occasionally pull some wonk stuff and I’m fine with that. I love it because it’s terrible it’s a silly vehicle that can occasionally pull some crazy shots to an enemy whose unsuspecting.
My issue isn’t just accuracy to realism but gameplay. This change reminds me of the Draken flight model nerf where the aircraft would prevent you from rolling when below 600kph because so many noobs were buying the Prem draken and crashing from low speed maneuvers.
The vehicle shouldn’t change because of bad players, that’s type of change just ruins a unique vehicle for the noobs to further still not understand.
I’m sorry but you’re childish for coming in here and getting upset over our opinions of a vehicle you don’t care about. yes I get some people are crazy about the vehicle but in the end it’s because we like the vehicle. We like the game despite how much we say we hate it. We give criticism because we want it to be better and this change does not make it better.

and that doesnt currently happen already?
you cant really argue going up would be bad when the thing youre worried about happening, is already happening.
Currently there are 6 shermans at 3.3-3.7 across all nations and they use the short 75mm with a fast reload and they will absolutely devistate the Ikv 103 more than it already gets with the 76mm and british 17-pounder shermans and soviet 57 & 85mm T-34s and KV-85 etc.
Its performance will always be sub optimal with the current map designs and relying on open fields/CQB maps. And “noobs” that doesent know how to use the vehicle will always get stomped. But it should really be put at 5.7 - 6.0 where it can be used to knock out slower, heavier tanks with bigger guns.
Yes it was 5.0 - 5.7? When it first was added but with how much br changes has been made since then to mid tier i think it deserves another shot. It overpressures M18 Hellcats and the like vehicles so i say why not

It’s admittedly a very situational round compared to the HEAT-FS, but that’s no reason to not add it. It has novelty, and makes the Ikv 103’s ammunition selection a little more interesting.

Now let’s hope they add back proxy fuse to the VEAK 🙏
That vehicle was really interesting before. Now its just sad 😔

Not gonna happen, it’s also likely to lose its stabilizer when they accept the newest bug report for it
Specifically when looking at documents for the Veak there is no mention of a stabilizer at all, it’s also likely it never had one as the driver is in the turret and would only be able to drive the vehicle realistically while the turret is in the forward position meaning all shooting would be stationary making a stabilizer useless irl.
Also I didn’t make it, I just read the docs on the report, honestly I’m all for nerfing the veak until it’s the worst SPAA possible just for the meme since nobody is using it anyways. Maybe gaijin will finally add some good spaa

Oh hell nah, rip VEAK 😭. The removal of its proxy shell ruined playing that BR range of Sweden for me. Every time I want to play that BR and go to pick AA, I just become sad and play a different tree instead…
Sadly a historical change, no evidence of the VEAK ever having fired a proxy round. The absolute best evidence i could personally find was that the 40mm proxy rounds started trials a few months before the VEAK was decommissioned and they MAY have been at the same field.
This would be a cool addition and possible replacement for the VEAK: CV90 Chameleon
But would probably be a higher BR.
Well yeah I know about the proxy not being used. I have the docs for the Veak from the swedish armor discord.
Besides Tridon is a more likely option as it carried HE-VT rounds

Frankly, there’s not many SPAAG’s at that BR-area in the 35-40mm range with HE-VT in WT atm, no? None of the 35mm KDA vehicles or similar have any proximity fused ammo.
M247, but that’s already 9.0.
So I don’t think it’s in any way unfair that the VEAK 40 doesn’t have HE-VT, especially also considering it’s BR of 7.7…
Veak also just happens to have the slowest fire rate and worst velocity for a 7.7 SPAA and doesn’t have a lineup meaning it plays at 8.0 more often.
Seriously 40 rounds then reload
Gaijin can add 2 different vehicles with HE-VT to fill that gap as neither had radar

Yeah it went down in BR when the proxy was removed, it used to be 8.7 (i think it was? not sure on exact BR)
I would compare the Pvkv 2 to the flakbus, despite not getting overpressure APHE a 110g of filler is plenty and the rest is just the inherent advantages of being built on a light tank chassis compared to a halftrack. The Pvkv 2 is better in almost every way, it doesn’t get to overpressure with the APHE and its layout is weaker to AP rounds than the flakbus.
Not sure if it’s 0.3 of a BR better, but apparently Gaijin thinks so. biggest loss is having less other vehicles to play with it which sucks
