Gaijin will you fix the bombers?

Yes
Because of this

perfectly reasonable

According to the current status of ARB both strike aircraft and bombers are useless
And the current bombing meta on jet era which only F-111F goes faster than shameless MiG-23ML gangs
Or some worthless jets like F-117

While there are quite a lot of toxic fighter mains, who want to stay strikers and bombers as nothing but manned bot which does nothing but gives higher rewards for the frag.

I really think banning all of the bombers and strike aircraft from ARB and forcing them to be GRB-exclusive will have a higher chance than getting ANY kind of fix from Gaijin. :/

I think We have three choices now

  1. Shut the f- up and keep suffering.
  2. Fly with fighters instead.
  3. Quit playing WT and remove the account.

Because no fix will ever come

i Just want to AC-130 in peace dude not for just a fighter to go one shot my left wing with a 37mm (Tu-4) and for a uptier for me to be hitted by a AIM-9

At least both AIM-9B and 37mm are somehow resistible and 23mm NR-23 is good for resisting against an interceptor with a 37mm gun

Cutting the engine power can help buy some time against 9B before it has a lock

But Vautour’s R.511 is the real problem.

Bro i have Done everything to make the Tu-4 a viable option, Problem is you shouldn’t expect the average player to dive into the settings to dig out the Optimal settings to try to dodge strafes run while shooting back, I could do that, But that shouldn’t be the standar the Tu-4 has no reason to be fighting 9.0 material

YES.
I also suffered a lot when I tried to spade both Tu-4s :(
But maybe lesser than expected thanks to NR23 compared to B-29[7.3] with bullshit 50cal.

At least Engine cutting worked pretty well against F9F :|

Like, I have 186 battles with the Tu-4, and even with all those battles, I can’t reliably shoot down jets. I’ve only had about three battles where I downed three jets, but that’s pretty much the limit. You can’t repair, and EFS only counts for the engines, which most of the time you’ll be watching it slowly burn. Then you have those goofy modular plane damage models that always break in one spot, like the Lego Titanic. And you wonder, ‘Why are things like this?’ I, too, wonder, because Gaijin hasn’t added a more complex damage system for planes.

Maybe we didn’t produce enough profit and were not important to Gaijin :/
Maybe that is why we can get nothing new or any kind of fixes

there are multiple Tu-4s?

Chinese version and the soviet one

At least 5 bombers have detailed cockpits.
Off the top of my head: He-111, B57A, Yak-28, T 2, Canberras. That’s 6.
I’d have to test fly all. Yeah they’re slow but that’s largely due to how expensive it is to completely fabricate cockpits. It’s easier when there are existing cockpits to visit and scan to then create one in modeling software.
Or cockpits with enough photographs and diagrams easily available.

Exactly what would a fighter jockey tell.

AFIAK, B-57A and Canberra Mk.2 share the same cockpit, just like the AV-8A/GR.3 case.

Maybe I need to check it again in the game, though.

Major Skill Issue Moment

Cause there is famously lots of terrain up at 5-10km altitude and obviously no strategy in dogfighting…

Both of your monthly kills/spawn in air RB are under half of mine. Double them and you might have room to say this.

if you approach a good player that actually can aim turrets, you will almost certainly not be killing him without taking some form of damage.

False flagging does not help your cases…

What is wrong with having a lower number of kills per spawn? I do not play for the purpose of increasing this statistic. It is, conversely, you whose opinion is made questionable by this higher kills per death you have.

Bombers’ guns are few and far between, and almost never as strong as those of fighters. Even with multiple guns on target, parallax effect and incorrect convergence ranges (unchangeable by the player) make hitting shots hard for even experienced players. If you are getting killed by bomber gunners so consistently, you are doing something wrong. Approach from the front instead of loitering behind. Open fire at longer ranges.

In engagements between players with the same level of experience, the one using a fighter will defeat the bomber much more often. Expecting bombers to be an entirely free kill is your problem; it’s no more than a skill issue.
