Top tier spaa are defenceless for the most part - why should mid tier spaa be any different?
I would support removal of anything but he rounds for all mid tier spaa - light tanks are miserable to play currently and it would be a very welcome change for me.
That or actually fix 30mm auto cannons but that requires effort and work so they won’t do that.
I think better to give Falcon 9.0 than take away APDS. I use it with Chieftain 10/900 and ZA set up anyway. if it loses APDS i think BR should be 6.7. it won’t be much stronger than Zerstrorer. But I better play 9.0 current Falcon than 6.7 without APDS.
Top tier SPAA 1 click detroy all air in tetris menu. Falcon is not capable of that. Much fun playin Skink? It won’t much difference.
It should be going to 7.7 at the maximum. The Yenisei (7.7) has a radar at that BR (why?)
There is no reason on the grounds of “balance” for it to stay where it is.
Or the M163 at 7.3 I think has a radar
I’d say Falcon will have much more lighter targets to shoot at in 8.3 than in 7.7.

Let’s hope they drop the BR when they remove apds. They ruined my 8.0 lineup when they bumped up the BR.
UK has the Marksman at 8.3.
It also has an apds belt. Was that listed as removal as well? Thought it was just the Falcon and AMX-30 DCA.

It’s a 4.7 vehicle when we’re talking about 8.7 brackets. It’s one of the most random comparisons possible.
That’s not really much of a high bar in all honesty. Most nations don’t have a proper 8.7 lineup outside of Israel, France, the USSR, Britain, and Sweden. If we factor in vehicles around its BR, which you’d see under natural spread (+1/-1), the AMX-30 DCA isn’t even close to popular.
Even if it was popular, it certainly isn’t overpowered either. Being unstabilized and 8.7, it has a higher BR than the Gepard and most of its clones. It’s just not really reasonable to nerf the vehicle.
Let’s remove the APHE from the FlakBus, then.
Why not make SPAA objectively worse so that CAS becomes even more ass to deal with? We won’t have people like me in SPAA guarding from the middle anymore, and I’ll simply camp the back of the map.
Except removing APDS makes it better, because it isn’t overtiered on the basis that the APDS ruins IFVs instantly

I never said it is OP. If they do remove the APDS it should go to 8.0 or lower since it is just worse than the gepard in every way
It already is worse than the Gepard and shouldn’t be 8.7 even in its current state.
