Since gaijin is gonna do another change for no reason i want to talk about the same error that broke a spaa that was good only because it had a he-vt shells.
The falcon is not a amazing tank and if compare the falcon to the 35mm aa’s the falcon loses in all aspects the only good thing about is her apds belts that has less pen than the 35mm aa’s in the same br as the falcon but flacon dont comes with a full apds belt it only comes a belt with a belt with 1 he 2 sap-i and 1 apds so only 1 of those shots cam pen things well the sap rounds only pen 50 to 40mm’s of armor so it got less pen than some low tier aa’s if his apds got remove it will ruin this aa for ever.
Now i will talk about the other unusable spaa the veak40 the veak atleast comes with a better pen than the falcon but almost anyone uses it against tanks because atleast this aa has a radar that is not so great but atleast works but back in the day the veak was a lot more useful because it had he-vt rounds wat make the veak the lowest br he-vt user wat was devastating for cas user that had a bad time dealing with it soo gaijin decided to remove it for cas users stop crying because they cant revenge bomb anymore so now the veak40 is even less used than other low br radar aa’s all because it lost his aa capacity if it was moved to a higher br it would stay atleast useful but now is just a tank to grind and buy for no reason to
Get the itpsv that is way better than the veak.
this is my concern as well. even the amx dca is hardly used. its a bigger falcon at a slightly higher br. it received radar, but its a wobble radar. the vehicle in itself is already hardly used. that one apds shell allows it to be competitive and usable throughout the fight.
limited pen has its uses. look at stuff like the xm246. that thing is hella busted. its front turret tanks way more than it should. and those dm63 shells are destructive against alot of targets. but thats just it. the falcon with only 50 pen. or the 35mm oerlikon that has 66 pen. that alone is already a big difference.
yet people complaint they die to these low armored autocannons because they

every time they die, they blame the tank that killed them. this tank is too OP (against me). this tank has way too much pen (against me). they dont look at the bigger picture. they only care that everything used against them is nerfed.
i dont complaint the T58 is at a wrong br. every time i encounter a T58, its someone who is over zealous, who thinks he is untouchable, which only makes it sweeter when i shoot their barrel and they reverse hella fast but got nowhere left to go. you can take out such tanks rather easy, but you got to know how. its the same with spaa’s. if you dont want to learn how to fight them, its only you who’s to blame.

Saying its more popular than the Sherman Firefly isn’t a high bar ngl, its not a fun vehicle to use because the maps in this game don’t favour it so many people either GE it or skip it entirely without even playing it.
You wanna know what is a higher bar?
It is the 6th most played 8.7 vehicle in game (out of 33). The most played french 8.7 with more than 2 times the matches of the next one (amx30b2). And it is the 12th most played vehicle in the french tree (103 vehicles)
And looking at just last months stats it is 4th total for 8.7 and 6th total for france
I’m not denying its not a popular vehicle, just that it being more popular than the Firefly isn’t a good comparison lol
Because when I play my 9.3 lineup or 8.3 lineups I see them regularly, I’ve seen the DCA lock down an entire flank himself.
Why not? The firefly is an iconic WW2 vehicle after all
