Hey i hope you guys get a resolution to the spall liners soon. Sometimes it takes them a long time and a lot of noise to finally get something fixed. I know how frustrating it can be when the survivability of the tank is artificially reduced.

Yes. Components of the vehicle effect the Battle Rating. That’s why M4 Sherman is lower than the T-90M. It has less powerful components, thus it is a lower battle rating.
It would be great.
I could at least manage Chinese vehicles not having spall liners - if they at least had the same non-exploding autoloaders as Russian tanks.

I wish my Abrams fuel tanks ate shells the same way Russian ones did. Somehow whenever I play they seem to create spall.

so i take it you didn’t read anything i posted to you, gotcha.
spall liners are survivability related, and dont have an impact on how fast the tank can shoot, the size of the shell, or make it more maneuverable. comparing and M4 to a t-90 is not a good comparison.

Those are all different componets that effect the BR.
because you obvious didnt read what O.P claimed. his claim is false and proven wrong, yet you won’t it im not even the one that started talking about the abrams first. now why dont you scroll up to the top and find out that O.P and someone else did.
it makes it harder to kill all the crew, but you can still disable the tank so all around its not a huge impact.

They don’t affect the actual platform of the vehicle. Just a one-time use survivability cushion which aids in surviving enemy flanking maneuvers. Which increases confidence and therefore makes you perform better mentally.
Surviving that one flanking shot can save your game, but it’s not like your vehicle becomes any different itself. You just get shot once, and you probably survive because your spall liner got destroyed and ate the blow.
It’s a relatively minor thing, but it helps make a vehicle feel a lot better to play.

russians dont have armor around their fuel tanks, thats why they explode.

Shooting side on a Strv 122B sometimes will completely ignore the crew and take out the engine, is that not better than killing the gunner and commander?
