Should be best for players who getting trouble with getting wing ripped, but not for common player who can turns agiles as soon as can like F8U Crusader, we can say its Nerfed for sure.
While Raf turns 15G instantaenous to notching missiles even when it comes to live server.
I am claiming that F-16 is more agile than Mig-21, and that Typhoon is more agile than Rafale.
And the evidence of this is 1v1s, and hard data from testing. Roll rate, STR, general dogfight performance.
If the Typhoon was less agile than Rafale, it’d lose.
If F-16 was less agile than Mig-21, it’d lose.
Peak-Gs isn’t agility for an aircraft.
Honestly i can’t say i care since the Eurofighter is still pretty goated at BVR
I find the Gripen most notable in this video. It looks like it has been buffed FM?
should Fixed the comment
Gripens on Dev servers are totally broken, espacially for SA Gripen(UK)
They have AoA limiter(paddles or something) as built-in but not the swedish one
I played on dev and EF so OK. more balance and wings not broken.
And dev not end yet.
There is no “Balance” unless Gaijin nerfs rafales too
16g looks like unrealistic.
Yes and Rafale still does.
Looks like they brought back the old FM for Gripen before the nerf?
no it’s not kind of that thing if i remember correct when jas39 freshly comes out
It’s just have been literally “broken”(not saying as op, kinda way too trash) by looks like a AoA paddle forced enabled of something by that
Yeah I’m glad my Gripen got buffed. However it’s a bad day for Typhoon players, Rafale should get a nerf too.
I’m more concerned about when they will fix the typhoon radar. The radar is really terrible—TWS refresh rate is almost as bad as Russia’s Su-27.
I actually find the eurofighter almost unusable with how bad the radar is
Sorry to say so, but Rafale is normally better than EF-2000 in such long forced turns, showed in the start of video.
The problem comes from your engines,… and not from the Wings or Controls.
The engines needs Air to combust the gas, but Air entry of EF-2000 are under the nose, preventing any clean airflow to enter the channel.
Therefore Engine lose Thrust.
Due to Gripen and Rafale Side-entry, those loss of thrust are reduced,…
And everyone knows that Thrust is the thing you wanna have in order to turn.
I will say that I agree with a reduced g limit but I mostly disagree with the way they’ve done this absolutely one sided “nerf”
realistically most planes (at least from what I know) have a in built g limit of max +9gs, and of course this limit can also be overridden by turning off the FBW or AOA limiter systems of the plane.
Now gaijin decided to only reduce the g limit of the Eurofighter to 12-13gs whereas the Rafael is able to pull about 16.5-17gs when realistically it also has a +9g max limit.
then the Developers at gaijin decided to extend the max speed of the Rafael to Mach 2.0, and from what I’ve seen the max attainable speeds of the Rafael due to purely engine performance and heat limitations is Mach 1.8
Now maybe they made Mach 2.0 to be the max speed achievable due to wing strain as in game the wings rip right after Mach 2.0.
But if this is the case why is it not the same for the Eurofighter that has a realistic max attainable speed of Mach 2.0.
I completely agree with this comment. If they nerf, they should nerf them all, not just the Eurofighter, this will completely ruin this jet and they say it’s a correction, it’s more like destruction. If they see how many players they lose with this move, they might change it.
exactly, im fine with realistic changes that affect all vehicles IF it is realistically implemented,
think about it, if everything is g limited to 9gs this would also make the meta swing towards high AOA fighters, like the f18 or maybe planes that can properly cobra for that single burst of high aoa ( this is of course only in a dogfight scenario )
it might also force people to properly rate fight, saving energy not using the aoa limiter.
It’s sad to see this, it’s an ideal example of how to ruin an otherwise good jet, of course they say turn off AoA but they forget that the other jets can turn it off as well
also id like to mention how the NCTR changes given to the Eurofighter shows how much more bad the Eurofighter radar is, the amount of times I’ve locked a missile instead of a single plane that is also flying within a huge cluster of other planes is insane.
and let me guess, gaijin implemented this NCTR changes because they cant fix radars and want the player to know that they’re locking missiles. I do appreciate that they did model NCTR but I’m positively confident they just implemented a completely new feature to indirectly fix an existing issue.
correct me if I’m wrong but, cases of aircraft radar locking onto missiles are very rare, specially for smaller missiles like AMRAAMs or Sidewinders, most of the time the RCS is very small and not only that, the speed of these missiles make it even harder to do so. However larger missiles such as cruise missiles or ballistic missiles can be detected, i even saw a video of a plane shooting down a cruise missile.
