Most ATGMs around the TTS’ battle rating have tandem warheads which can negate the ERA. Think things like the Wiesel 1A2 or AFT09. At the end of the day though, most things will be firing APFSDS at you, and even if you can’t go through the ERA, you can go through the fairly sizeable gap at the turret ring. You won’t really ever notice the ERA saving you from my experience, it just slows you down.
The chinese m60 has stuck with m735 for years, wondering why no US mains come out to say anything about it lol

Because they didn’t play the chinese tree. It’s pretty normal and accepted that one cannot advocate for all 10 nations when they play 1-2 and have no idea what the other nations need done.

Its quite decent, only problem I was having is the tank is ugly as f, and that stupid turtle shell on the dome. All the current 9.0s are pretty easy to do well, I couldn’t find a weak one (mbt) if you held me at gun point, the T-55AM/AMD has a rather weak shell and thats about it.
Yeah, it’s quite fun now, even with China having so many better choices at 9.0. TTS fulfills the same role of a glass cannon like the PTZ89. M60 has more armour, but at 9.0, it doesn’t mean much. Naturally I prefer the 5 second reload 120mm of the PTZ89.
These things are actually pretty hard to pen with aphe, I often run into them and the br482 just bounce lol given the same situation any apfsds will go through them clean. The most wonky m60 I would think of is the M60A2 starship, that turret has so many spots that hitting there renders no damage, even from something the likes of chieftain mk10, not to mention this thing also very resistant against aphe, the hull usually a no go so the only entrance is the turret ring area.

Yeah, turret is my go-to for shooting them with 279s APHE (frontally), typically a certain death for them. But yeah, you’re right that the armour does work for them sometimes. It’s not like a Leopard 1.

I do hate the fact most vehicles don’t get their service rounds. Just balance the vehicle around them if they over/underperform that’s why we have BR’s.
