Gaijin and modern NATO armor

oh, you trying to say Russian suffer hahaha if you say that it’ll be golden comedy everyone knows that sht if you have a hard time with Russia, it still issues pal plus i’m not going back to play that unfair tech tree again am better than that and to answer your question well i can answer that why it because Russian main are low skills in general so that why most of them can’t even reach 2.00 K/D even with that broken ass tanks

Here is the problem with all of your arguments. It doesn’t need to be twice as good. It just needs to be meaningfully better. It is meaningfully better.

Besides. This is all just a side argument. The central theme of the argument is that NATO tanks get unfair treatment because they have better document security and Russia gets falsely positive treatment because the historical record shows, clearly, that none of the stuff they build meets the specifications they say they do.

Just want to point out that the Devs are NOT making the argument that the performance of the tank is balanced and therefore fine. They are making the argument that they do not think the NATO tanks have good enough documentation to give them better armor. This is simply not the case by any reasonable metric. Especially given that they do not, at all, have any idea what the tanks actually do IRL.

This is whataboutism. And entirely irrelevant to the argument.

Again. This is, fundamentally, about fairness. And what is happening to NATO tanks vs. Russian tanks is categorically unfair.

This presumes that the LFP is the same size on all tanks. It is not. In fact, Russian tanks are unique in presenting more UFP than LFP in the context of this game. This is a false equivalency.

Not the point. The point is Russia has a lineup of the simplest tanks to play. Other nations have, at best two, and down to zero tanks that are as forgiving as Russian tanks.

I mean strv122 that people cry out its OP turn out it pretty much best example how hull armor should work strong UFP weak LFP which make sense for a pretty much any tanks.

Not a representative sample. This is all sorts of logically flawed. Your argument is that individual players don’t do well in the T-80/90 series tank than they are fine. This is the fallacy of the small sample as well as the exception.

Again this ignores how Russian tanks have tiny LFP vs UFP and all NATO tanks have large LFP vs UFP. This is a false equivalency

In what message? You made that up. I just want someone to back up their opinion with statistics

This is impossible as the only valid statistics are owned and not shared by Gaijin.

Alright, so if we give a average player US and Russian toptier he will perform better with the Russian toptier, gotcha.

Living in Russia, I can directly contradict you. Private companies in America, which produce equipment, have to advertise, provide some kind of booklets with parameters when they participate in a tender.

In Russia, for example, UVZ can make internal orders for the army and not provide any documents to the public (because why should they?).

Besides, I see in the west there are more writers who study armament.

When I was collecting information on the Su-39, I faced the problem that I can’t find anywhere the exact characteristics of a certain system

Your personal one is enough for me, not the general one. So far no one here has shown miracles on OP cars. The person above generally plays 3 times better on a leclerc

Ahh. It all makes sense now. Look, if you believe your state media. That’s on you.

Not much point in arguing further.

You haven’t tried it, why are you speaking as an expert. Once again I’m telling you - buy these tanks and test them yourself. You’ll run into a lot of problems.

The core of the problem is how gaijin models their vehicles.

They have this half assed approach of taking some values from “official documents”, no matter how dubious the source, aka. “insert russian source written on napkin here” and reject actual “official documents” that were declassified for other values for no reason.

Good example is the AIM54-C. Tons of bug reports, declassified spec sheets etc. but the thing just won’t get fixed. Is it because it’s missing documentation? No. It’s because it would break the balance of the BR range to some extend. But they don’t communicate that and rather state that “documentation is missing”.

With the game coming closer and closer to vehicles that are literally only single digit years in service, they have to change their approach on how to implement the vehicles.

Everything else is just a bait to get classified documents leaked and/or wastes time of people looking into declassified documents to get vehicles fixed if they disregard these sources as nonsense anyway.

They just need to come out and say how they want to handle this.

We don’t need to argue how obviously stupid their take on the Abrams armor is.
Same goes for the Leo2a7 and other vehicles.

It isn’t bugged it is modeled properly.

if it was made by a 10y old teen yea maybe then

Are we gonna talk about the fact that the only reason tanks like the Leclerc and the type 10 get a high K/D is because they are so trash that only veteran players bother to grind up to those tanks (that are very badly represented let’s take the Leclerc for exemple: i mean ALL the Leclerc doesn’t have the right armor not just 1 Leclerc like the abrams, wrong speed, wrong acceleration, wrong turret rotation speed even buffed, old shell, wrong armor values on the azur kit, fuel tanks worst than Russian auto loaders, wrong reload speed witch is worst than the abrams now…). You have a problem where all new players find the Russian tech tree enjoyable because the tanks are on steroids (ex: PUMA 10.0 and 2s38 also 10.0 with a bigger gun and better mobility…) and thus you get a low k/d on Russian tanks because all the lower level players play it. Now you take gound Japan, or France which are a fudging pain and the k/d is high, and thus to balance it they are wrongly implemented into the game. What everyone really wants is for the tanks to get represented right, not balanced because of the k/d. If that happens, more low level players will have the possibility of playing MORE tech trees and the k/d of the Leclerc and the Type 10 will get progressively lower every update. Sounds counterintuitive but for a good player it doesn’t matter the tank they play. The possible change is for low level players like me that can’t grind some countries because it’s horrible to play and you work up to a tank that’s made of paper and can’t pen sh… And if there’s any moderators or devs reading this message, if you want to get your player retention up and not wait for an update to build hype, this is the way to do it. Make top tier like it should be: enjoyable for everyone, with any tech trees, please.

One day you will learn that LFPs are modeled on purpose as a weak spot.
