Nato troops have been in Ukraine fighting for years. un-officially fighting for the " international legion " the Poles sent entire combat units into Ukraine, until zelensky pissed the polish off. The Russians have already knowns this because they’ve heard polish being spoken over radio comms. You also have Americans vets from Afghanistan / iraq, Australians brits, the French foreign legion etc. in Ukraine.
I will say this, the russians don’t quit. Thats one thing i’ve always respected about them.
I apologize and mean no offense, but this made me laugh out loud.

The history of US Air RB is absolutely dominated by massively overpowered and undertiered aircraft due to Gaijin’s reliance on the flawed player stats-based BR system.
I can hop on into my Corsair at 2.7 and casually get a 50 - 1 K/D ratio because the thing is untouchable given it’s hilariously low BR.
This is the exact same reason why Germany/Russia have had their share of undertiered Ground Forces vehicles.
I can’t speak for Gaijin, but I can look at their prior actions.
They’ve already provided the M1 family of vehicles with numerous buffs in an effort to improve their state, namely:
UFP changed to defeat any and all APFSDS in the game
Engine noise levels reduced significantly.
Sight magnification buffed from 3x-10x to 3x-13x
M1A1 HC received M829A2
M1A1 Click-Bait received M829A2
It seems like they prefer to change firepower aspects over protection aspects, which I can somewhat understand given a greater flexibility with available ammo types and the inherently vague nature of reload times determined by crew and not autoloaders.
They have actually changed/buffed the armour of the M1’s previously, but this was quite a long while ago now.
I don’t even see the need for it to be DU related.
I’ve never understood this community’s (not you specifically) obsession with DU when it comes to armour improvements. It’s as if they believe any improvements must automatically involve DU being slapped onto every single inner surface of the M1.
Clearly lots of other countries are producing effective armour solutions without that material, why can’t the US?
This is also what bothered me about Gaijin’s response on the matter, just because they deny the existance of DU hull armor does not deny the existence of armour improvements altogether, especially for the SEP v2 which is heavily shrouded in unknowns.
I agree, but I would argue that I don’t see a superior alternative at this moment.
Like I said, they should’ve stuck with GHPC’s approach and limited to '80s timeframe if accuracy was their main concern.
My man stop spreading lies about Polish combat units… volunteers yes of which there is a lot of other countries but now as much as you say…
Now back to the topic please…
Abrams are not performing how they should the armor is lacking and russian tanks bounce rounds it should not specialy the round carousel which should explode but it does not…
Based on what is publicly available it’s an easy ask. It would make it basically like the turret cheeks given what Gaijin knows. Still plenty of weak spots. Also. It’s quintessentially American. Nobody else does DU armor (that I know of). Any meaningful improvement would be nice.
And that’s fine. I just highlights how they can really play fast and loose with protection, but for some reason, they don’t really.
i saw a document on DTIC while i was scrolling for info about the M1A1 AIM Tusk modification and i saw some mentions about the armor thickness of hull composite array is listed at 25 inches/63.5cm, I didnt read further more because original goal was to find info about the M1A1 AIM Tusk modification being install so i can bug report it and give the AIM Tusk but people say that TUSK is just dead weight so i just kinda give up
I would love to see a profit cost breakdown. But if Gaijin released that no matter what it said there would be riots.
I still think there are business reasons to invest more in minor nations. It gives more depth to the game and gives a better experience for the Big Three and increases their value in an indirect way. It also can help with advertising.
But without knowing the actual numbers and what industry standards are I will just have to acknowledge I am mad just cause I want shiny new Italy and France things and recognize that Gaijin has every right to do what they do. And it is working for them so I can’t even get mad at them for being dumb.
My point is we should not allow hatred be a basis for wanting a certain country’s amour to be better than another ,just a fun playable game which Top Tier for many including many youtube content creators simply is not.
Russian armour needs to be somewhere equal to that which it faces.
If Ukraine has a relevance to WT then its be careful what you wish for in GRB because flooding it with CAS and drones will make top tier a place where Tanks are redundant and that is pretty sad for a tank game.
