The issues with Fox is the vehicle is benefit by no armor best armor bullcrap, I played Tiger 2 recently and most shot feels like I was shooting needles at it and delete one crew at a time, it’s like any other lightly armoured vehicles in the game except it’s a lot worse because it’s so much smaller lol even hitting an angled part of the vehicles somehow doesn’t trigger the fuze from the APHE, I remember looking at the protection analysis and hitting it from such angle, that spot is thick enough to trigger the explosive.
real life statistics, such as what you were on about with the russian gun, differ depending on who had created it
As i said, the soviets and thus russians had lower standards and therefore their figures differ to nato
Can we just stop with the myth of no British APHE. 3-Pdr and 2-Pdr had APHE shells, the British then tested solid shot against APHE and found that the post-penetration damage wasn’t worth the loss in reliability. After the war broke out they still used the 2-Pdr APHE ammo, because you’re not going to let the stockpiles of serviceable ammunition go to waste.
The British also used M61 APHE. The US briefly stopped supplying it due to premature detonation issues, there was no removing filler and replacing it with concrete by the British it came without filler directly from the factory. Even the Americans used it. Once the premature detonation issue was resolved and the British got fresh deliveries of M61 APHE they used both, because again, you’re not going to waste stockpiles of perfectly good ammo in the middle of a war.
The 6-Pdr also fired US 57mm APHE. Though deliveries of this weren’t as common as the British were making their own 6-Pdr ammo.
It can be extremely wonky at times. Sometimes I can one tap Tiger 2s ammo, but sometimes I will hit the barrel over and over and it’ll do nothing. So I mean, I dunno.
Fox is a mediocre scout car played by players who learned to play such a vehicle from playing good with trash vehicles. Its autocannon has a lower pen value than it should and is the slowest firing of its kind, its also not stabilised.
Fox is also only one notch below the XM800T which may have less pen but the targets fox can pen the XM800T can too most the time so that argument means nothing, its fully stabilised and almost as fast everywhere while having a better turn radius because its tracked.
and its not because of the fox, the centurion is the main guy there.
Also the old 6.7 lineup was a menace. The centurions had good mobility and armour for their BR. Maybe it’s just me having fond memories but I really dislike playing the current 7.7 lineup I feel like I’m in a heavy tank with no armour.
I made it to 7.7 when the falcon was 8.0 but the Vickers and Cent10 were still 7.7, great it was, Eland from below to be a light tank and the Swingfire for a missile bus, shortly after I made it there they all went to 8.0 and the APDS changes also came
Fox is preforming better than all other light tanks “mediocre” is a hilarious statement.
It’s a hold W tank, then your already at the enemies spawn before they can leave it. Wait till they pass, and guess what? Freeeee killsssss
Xm800t cannot kills American, German, and Soviet heavies and some mediums, and or tank destroyers, so that is super false.
Fox is actually faster in all terrains other than: sand, mud.
Surprisingly for no good reason it’s faster in snow but that’s all wheeled vehicles.
Pretty much the only thing you’ve confirmed to be true is having the worse turning radius.
It’s because of the fox and conquerer with its mk.2 package, which is so good it can eat ATGMs and the like from 8.3 and 8.7 vehicles… but hey no Brit bias again.
I’m a Russian main great, what of it? Have you even looked at my stat card? I play pretty much every nation except china
