Future of American air

This is a general idea of what I think the air tree should look like in the future. If you have anything to suggest be added before 5th gen or arguments on placing, let me know and we can work through our ideas

I think there’s an additional upgrade on the MSIP II that adds an AESA radar and a different cockpit, might be a good bridge between the base MSIP II and the F-22A

From what I’m seeing the f15 msip II was an upgrade off of the f15C which included the aesa. So they might need to add another f15C in its place and increase the br of the msip if/when they add the aesa to it

I ain’t grinding another F-15C just for a radar. Put them on the current one. Same for F-15E. Introduce a variant of both from the gulf war

I think what they should do is add the improved radar to the modifications, same for anything else that later got it’s radar upgraded/replaced

AIM-7M 💀 basically less maneuverable F-15A 💀

B-52 would be around 8.3 in air RB.
No reason to move F-105D.
B-1 Lancer would be ~10.3.
F-15EX would be same or a higher BR than F-35.

F111s are between 1960-1970, B1 lancer is from mid 1980s. Figured it should be higher br cause it’s a newer aircraft but it also doesn’t have defensive armament so idk. I felt the f105 would be moved to the strike line because it’s a strike aircraft, same for the f15E

B-2 doesn’t have a2a does it?

Because it’s stealth

Age has nothing to do with capabilities.
Also the bomber line has to inherently turn into a fighter-bomber strike aircraft line because strat bombers are inferior.

Later upgrades to the msip included the aesa that’s why I was saying it should have a researchable modification to upgrade the radar to aesa instead of adding another variant of it

I don’t think the B-2 would be that high BR, in ground battles it could be if we got some proper decompression in the future but for air I could see it being not that far from the F-117 in terms of air BR. It’s got no CM’s, pretty slow compared to other aircraft, and only air-to-ground weapons. Unless Gaijin added ECM for it then it would literally be just a F-117 but with more bombs.

Also I don’t think the F-15E needs to be moved to line 4, same with the F-15EX if that comes in the future. I think they would cap out the bomber line pretty nicely with stuff like the B-2, B-1B, and B-52 coming before them.

Another thing is regarding the F-16V. Being a bit pedantic I know but it should instead be the F-16C Pobit. Basically just a F-16C upgraded to the block 70 standard that is the V.

There are also some other additions too like the F-14D with AMRAAM and 9M being put either into the F-14 folder or before the F/A-18C Late, and a late upgrade for the AV-8B+ with HMD, AIM-120C and AIM-9X which would fit nicely between the AV-8B+ and the future F-35B. Also for the bomber line like I mentioned above the B-52.
