With paper vehicles being available in the future in events only, do you think we will see the return of past papers at least once?
It would make sense, as it will remove the entire grey area of removed for being fake, not to mention hopefully making it possible for newer players (define new).
The main thing that makes me suspect it is that the Ho-Ris were removed right before the announcement, so maybe there is correlation there.
Would you like to see it? (No “older players” bias, we get it you are so superior for installing the game prior to others)
IDK not a big fan of paper vehicles at all. The removed ones should have been removed completely and not allowed to remain for players who unlocked them.
Adding new ones would be even worse.

I agree, but once added I think removing isn’t the correct option, as it leads to blatant unfair gameplay.
Notice how all removed vehicles are absent from almost every balance change, as in Gaijins eyes “rare means no need to balance”.
Prominent examples being the Flakpanzer 341, Panther II, Ho Ri, R2Y2, and AMX-50 surbli (Aint writing allat)
Also, if in the future we are to get paper vehicles from events I rather it being the ones which are in need of balance before we get a German Doohickey with a 2s reload 200mm gun and more armor then the plot of JoJo.
while war thunder calls itself realistic, i dont think any paper vehicle or config should be in game.
the “removed” vehicles and still in game fakes should be fully deleted from the files. not just hidden from new players

I agree, it Gaijin should either fully commit for realism or fully commit for whatever you want to call the half and half.
But we all know why Gaijin does what it does, sadly
if they announced that part build or blueprint vehicles were now an option i would welcome them, however with certain changes to keep them within reality (structural steel or wood instead of armour steel)
Well we should never see paper vehicles again, the ones already in WT should be brought back but made realistic to what they were.
Ho-Ri proto seems real enough, but production to Ho-Ri 2, KT 105 to KT with Rangefinder, Flakpanzer341 gets a Panther D hull and turret is made of wood(can 7.62 turret to death), Panther 2 becomes the actual Panther 2, and the R2Y2s get fixed(not a Japan main idk how)
Yeah that’s why I believe they should be actually removed.
dafuq did the surblinde do? It’s not a paper vehicle and it was never removed from the game. You can buy it rn on the market if you have a spare 1500GJN lying around

I wouldn’t mind having paper vehicles in-game if they are well documented and were very far in research. Full scale mock ups would be the best start to be honest (TVP series, Škoda T-25, etc. . .)
