Future and Current Sub/Independent Technology trees

Could function as a good showcase of possibilities.

I wonder if this is meant to be more an opinionated post or a general showing of possibilities?

Possibilities, I feel like nobody would really care about my opinion, which is fine lol

Maybe Canada to the UK as well

I’m still debating if I should add the LATAM tech tree, there is already conflicts when it comes to Argentina.

Perhaps you could then expand it with certain countries having multiple placements.

For example: DPRK as a united independent tree with ROK, but also as a standalone option and also as possibility of PRC or USSR sub-trees.

Perhaps setting certain fixed standards as to when a country is considered eligible to be a sub-tree or independent tree so to keep decisions consistent and the least biased as possible.

A bit of a tangent of mine and it’s an intensive process, it’s ultimately up to you, but I’m just trying to give ideas in case you wish to expand this topic.

I actually had this in thought, I’ll consider it for sure, I’m still planning the layout.

No more or less unique than Israel, which should have been a US sub tech tree.

Yeah.

My personal stance is, no more independent tech trees please.

The Big Three, who are already stacked and don’t need sub trees, can be home to a smattering of vehicles from nations that wouldn’t cut it as a subtree (Lithuanian Vilkas in Germany for example). The minors, who desperately need the help, need to get as many subtrees as possible.

Every vehicle in that LATAM proposal should make it into the game. But not as part of an independent tech tree.

I don’t want to get into an argument about LATAM, but other than LATAM, I agree with you fully. And Israel should not have been an independent tree.

In an ideal world, Ukraine was just another Soviet republic, so its technology tree is already there. Technically you only have to put the Ukrainian vehicles, with the Ukrainian flag, as is done with Russia.
In the WT world, the snails decided to assign, in fact, Russia as heir to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
In the world of laws and law, Ukraine faces a decommunization process and there is even a legal framework that protects this process, so I suppose that, from this point of view, it is impossible to add Ukrainian vehicles to the USSR tree. .
In the real world, Russia invaded Ukraine, so it would not be morally appropriate to add Ukrainian vehicles to the USSR tree either.

What do you think the snail would do with Taiwan’s vehicles if they entered into a military conflict with China?

I think Switzerland could easily be a standalone tree, although with a pretty sparse top tier. Combining it with something like Belgium could be fun

I don’t see anything happening, I’m sure Gaijin foresaw these issues long ago.

What about France?

I’ll get to the rest of it soon, I’m currently in the middle of moving around my setup so I currently don’t have access to my PC, I’d rather not do it on a phone.

You can pick anything purple on this map for France

Spoiler

Though i would personally recommend Greece, Belgium and Lebanon

How about none, because France doesn’t need it

To be fair, there are probably a few possibilities for France.

Belgium would’ve been my first choice, Greece would also be another one.

I dont see Czechoslovakia there…why?

Funny, I don’t see you make the same comment for the suggested subtrees for the larger German and USSR trees.

It will be added.
